Climate is dictated by the sun and space weather. Earthquakes and volcanoes are also dictated by solar and space weather which also affect climate. Mankind's contribution to climate change is less than 0.0001%.
The planet goes through macro climate changes that have nothing to do with people. It happened before and it'll happen again. No special degree needed, just basic reasoning and observation of geology.
