Labradoodle is a friendly and sociable crossbreed dog that originated in Australia in the 1980s. They are a mix between a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle, and have become popular as pets due to their hypoallergenic coats, intelligence, and trainability. Labradoodles come in a variety of sizes, colors, and coat types, and are often used as therapy dogs or emotional support animals due to their affectionate nature. They require regular exercise and grooming, but make great companions for families or first-time dog owners.

  1. Poodles are:
    -High energy
    -Easy to train
    -A great family dog
-Great temperement and do well with kids
    -Almost non shedding
-Guaranteed to be hypoallergenic (because there no hair flying around. But allergenes are also in saliva and skin cells)

    Labradoodles are
-NOT guaranteed to be low shedding
-9/10 times has a more difficult coat to keep than a poodle
    -No breed standard to follow
-Conformation is awful, as you're mixing two different build dogs and often just two random dogs without checking hips, knees, elbows etc. (which results in hip dysplasia among other issues)
-All kinds of doodles often gets weird and neurotic temperement as you're again mixing completely dogs!

Mixing is a gamble… you don't get the best 50% of each breed. No predicting size, temperement, coat etc. etc.

And that's even without going into how many doodles come from puppy mills…

  2. ☝🏻💁🏻‍♀️A mix of 2 registered purebreds create an unrecognized/non registered dog breed which is called a "MUTT" and pawrent to the first birth of the oodle craze regrets having ever bred these breeds because they are an expensive mutt with plenty of health problems 🤷🏻‍♀️

  3. I adore these dogs. My only complaint is that people want them long and fluffy, don't brush them, and get them groomed every three months (or longer)

  4. I work at a vet tech in the city and I thought I would be seeing nothing but pitbulls… Instead it's nothing but these good boys and girls. They're great but sometimes that intelligence doesn't seem to shine through as much as I, or their owners, would like. Allergies are a big one for these dogs too so if you see a lot of over grooming of the paws that lead to discoloration of the fur or scratchings at the ears and belly that seems almost obsessive it might be time to look into allergy medicine like apoquel and cytopoint

  5. I don't disagree that they aren't smart beautiful dogs. But being a dog groomer I know from experience very few I would say 1out of ten owners brush their dogs and maintain their coats between being groomed. So unless you are going to brush them between grooming about every 6 to 8 weeks then You don't need a Labadoodle

  6. Anxious spastic goofy and aloof is practically every doodle I’ve met, and I’ve met a lot. One of the most common breeds now.

  7. My nephew has a huge labradoodle, that is dumb as a rock. It is uncontollable due to his lax, undisceplined parents. Stupid dogs favorite toy is a rock. Seriously, his favorite toy is a fist sized rock. Carries it, throws it himself, into the pool and makes you get it. For me, no thanks if they're like this one.

  8. They aren’t FRIENDLY. They are genetic fire dumpster that are very aggressive towards children and other dogs. Even with “socialization” they are very hard to train and isn’t fit for family that has several toddlers that likes to stick their hands on the dog’s food bowl. Stop trying to release a fuckjng propaganda that makes doodle people thinks their dogs are good, when it is the exact opposite.

  9. Love the channel. Hypoallergenic does not mean NO allergic reactions, it means the dog does not shed, reducing the severity and occurence of allergic reactions. If you have an allergy to dogs, you will still be allergic to any breeds that are hypoallergenic.

  10. A labradoodle! WTF is that? a mix between 2 other dogs is a mutt and it’s not a bad word or description. Mutts are typically adorable and even tempered dogs that are good with families and kids. It’s a mutt, own it! People get mad when I identify this dog of theirs as a mutt. I love it!!!
