6. My most favorite movie of all time!!! There’s no Robin Hood better than Errol Flynn!!! I have three copies of this movie, it never gets old.

7. I don't understand the ending. It looks like Sir Guy reaches for his knife with his left hand, swings it around and tries to stab Robin but misses, and then Robin grabs it and pushes Gisbourne away. He grabs it with his left hand, and his sword is in his right. Yet in the shot where Gisborne is stabbed, Robin is holding his sword with his right hand and the knife is nowhere to be seen. Did I miss something here?

14. Fun fact: Basil Rathbone actually taught Errol Flynn to sword fight but before they did Robin Hood. They did Captain Blood together first and that's where he taught him to begin with. Basil was a great swords man at the time

23. To anyone who knows anything about medieval fencing, the fighting looks a bit ridiculous, because broadswords aren't used like rapiers.

    Still, it's the best and most pure-spirited Robin Hood movie made to this day. 🙂
