This Pilot is the one of the largest cowards anyone will ever hear of. You have to be such a garbage of a human to do this to all those innocent souls. I'm not religious, but in instances like this, it would be nice to know this pilot is rotting in agony for the rest of eternity.

737 has bad track record with similar incidents happened in the past of nosedives. It could be the problem with the plane, they are trying to protect their technical faults as they always do….

The older pilot had been degraded on rhe results of a flight simulator test conducted by the (military) father of the 32y pilot. This pilot had joined the airline at 28, (presumably after flight education in the military?).
In many contries young boys join the military to get the pilot license and then switch to commercial airlines at a very young age after 'retiring' in the army.
A complex junction of issues and hurt feelings might develop btw the pilot, the company, and copilot. Most likely criminal behavior from the COPILOT, as many ppl in China believe.
It has been 4 months and still no official report on this. I would hate to live in a communist country where the government does not value life

The sky is a stigma-free zone. Maybe the pilot told his parents that he was actually a woman, and they laughed at him, because it's a pretty stupid thing to think. I see no reason why that can't happen in China. We do owe them a few diseases.
There should always be 3 pilots to every flight. Would help prevent things like this.

There is a cover up here ? The best theory was a historic tail strike was noticed but ignored by the captain .The sudden failure of the rear bulkhead failed at 29 thousand feet. The lack of ability of the crew to deal with this problem saw an attempted recover however this failed due to the maximum air frame speed had been exceeded. The fear is like the Korean Airlines crash cultural issues on the flight desk saw a captain not grounding the aircraft.

If this is true, the whole eastern airline management team need to be held responsible–how could they demote a very senior pilot and the let him co-pilot the plane? It is also unclear the ground on which the senior pilot was demoted several grades.

This made me remember captain Zahari Ahmed Sha who intentionally controlled MH370 in 2014 which has never been found since. No signs of being found either. Pilot mental health is one crucial thing in aviation.

Misleading title. Investigators still dont have a cause! Do these news networks have stock in Boeing?While Suicide may be likely, it cant be proven without flight data recordings and cockpit voice recordings. Both are too badly damaged. Most likely never be 100% sure of cause.
German pilot did it before. It could also be from malfunctional elevators issue
a piece came off the plane 6 miles back. possibly the struggle began earlier.. possibly the piece caused the uncontrolled decent.. most likely the younger pilot had something that he used to harm the others. then gaining complete control fly the plane into the ground.

We living in the world where each one protects their brands or reputations at an expence of innocent consumers, its an opprtunitistic determination made by American officials, not NTSB but aviation analysts and expects simply because none of the pilots were Americans. I mean they can do some research on their own pilots and they will find out more than 80% have some degree of psychosocial stressors or depression. It's well known Boeing has a long history of aviation irregularities that accounted for many innocent lives lost but all they think about is mental aspects of pilots who can't talk for themselves. What's fair and just? Well since Chinese investigators rightfully so invited Boeing to assist with investigations why can't we wait for their joint statements to outline what they think let to so many lives lost? Why don't these expects who came up with this damaging theories be reprimanded for making such statements before final official reports have been endorsed? Who is advocating for innocent victims?
