SUZUKI SWIFT (2022) CRASH TEST

Spread The Viralist

Latin NCAP crash test result for the 2021-2022 Suzuki Swift.

The Suzuki Swift was tested in frontal impact and side impact, whiplash and pedestrian protection. The zero stars result is explained by the poor side impact protection and an open door during the test, lack of UN32 rear impact test leading to low  whiplash score, lack of standard side head protection airbags, lack of standard Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and the decision of Suzuki of not recommending Child Restraint Systems (CRS) for the test. Pedestrian protection performance showed a reasonable level. This car would not pass regulation UN95 requirements due to door opening.

  1. It should be stated that this is the indian version sold in india and other undeveloped countries, it has much worse safety standards and worse equipment than the European version to lower the price.

  2. So it’s a car for townies and if you go over 30kph your dead in a head on collision? Where’s the 200kph head on vs a Ute test

  3. It’s the Indian version (Maruti Suzuki) they export to Latin America as well as the Indian market and Africa. Japanese versions have five stars, that’s what we get in Australia.

  4. But we are Indians will buy maruthi manufacturing cars if gets zero stars also because they will provide very high mileage and lower price ,we don't care about our lives and our family…

  5. Swift is the splendor of all cars. Awaiting for all new strong hybrid Swift providing 30+kmpl. Who wants safety when driving under city bumper to bumper traffic. Even if it's scores "A big ZERO" still i don't give a F**K about global NCAP.

  6. thodi or मजबूती की जरूरत है swift ko gadi bast h mere Pass bi h मेंटेनेंस तो बहुत कम है

  7. india 5 star rating car ka accident hone par bhe kuch nahe bachta .
5 star ka mtlb ye nahe ke 140-160 kmph pe bhe kuch nahe hoga , 5 star bas 80kmph tak hota hai , vo bhe luck by chance

  8. Overall, I avoid Sub-compact vehicles personally. It might be ideal if you live in a dense city and tend to stick around downtown…. Otherwise even the GOOD models that score well…. Are seriously inferior safety-wise when they encounter a crash with larger cars and SUV's. You don't have enough crumple zone to slow the deceleration even when the occupant cab stays intact. It is just not something I would want my family on the road with. I do recall seeing this Suzuki, on some auto enthusiast channel, Maybe Doug Demuro??? Where they were praising the inexpensive cost and tech value and discussing how it was a shame it is not available in the US. Meh, I think we can live without it. It is one thing if you only ever drove it a max of 35mph… but people do 80 in these. Stick with the Civic/Focus/Jetta/Corolla/Elantra threshold… These "Compact" cars are much more adequate in safety, and much more comfortable to drive, and are really not much more money.
