Minutes Before Lion Air Flight 610 Crashed | Air Crash Investigation | National Geographic UK

Spread The Viralist

Minutes after a routine domestic flight from Jakarta, Indonesia to Pangkal Pinang, the pilots on-board Lion Air Flight 610 struggle to keep the new Boeing 737 Max nose from pitching down. They soon alert air traffic control of an emergency after encountering difficulties in finding the source of the problem. On the ground, the controller allows the pilots to fly at any altitude they choose, but things quickly turn for the worst when the plane nosedives and begins speeding towards the sea, leaving the pilots without options. Indonesian investigators must now determine why a Boeing 737 Max 8, one of the best-selling new airplanes on the market, plunged into the Java Sea.

Find out what really happened to the now grounded Boeing 737 Max 8 on Air Crash Investigation season 20, starting 5th April at 9pm on National Geographic📺

  1. Maaf saya kurang bisa berbahasa Inggris jadi saya pakai bahasa Indonesia aja
Jujur saya merasa agak aneh karena kecelakaan Adam air tahun 2007 lebih gampang diingat daripada kecelakaan Lion air 2018

  2. Who actually audio mixed this? It's awful! Watch say 1:20 – the pilots voices are at nearly the same volume as the background music – it makes this sound like an amateur video, was almost anticipating a "dont forget to like and subscribe"

  3. Lion air actually asked for simulation training because of the system. Its the new system that troubled the airline. But I believed the request being denied and end up their plane was the first to crash.

  4. The fact that the official investigation reported terms such as "cost cutting engineering" and "corporate arrogance" is astounding. Boing were criminally charged with a 2.5 billon dollar fine. But the Federal Government should have intervened and removed it's directors. What an absolutely disgusting company to behave like this. This was one of two incidents as another of the same aircraft crashed for similar reasons resulting in over 600 deaths. I'm so angry that these corporations can cause this and no one is held to account. It's manslaughter !

  5. although boeing crashes often, this is the boeing plane that never crashes:
-b737-900er(this plane only have small incident like the runway overrun)
    -b747-8i
    -b787-8

  6. This max plane is sick plane with flaws design, system overpower a human pilot and do not forget during this accident no mention and training available yet so its doom from the start
