I’m sure you’ve already heard this, but you guys are so wonderful for getting him through this, and keeping your promise to him! I have never heard of fading kitten syndrome before this. I agree that cats and dogs all respond to love – it’s the best medicine in the world!! And I noticed King Chester tried to save the kitten from falling off the couch! So funny! Thanks again for saving him in more ways than one!

I've lost a few foster kittens this way years ago, so happy he made it. It's so hard to go through, as kitten and as human, and for parent.
He is fostering, because you did to him. Your belief and love in him has caused him to be the same parent to everything that has been brought into his life. Thank you, thank you for being this person. My love for our feline entities is so great it brings tears to my eyes to see this. Thank you for sharing this and thank you for being you.

The only pets I have had since I was a kid were cats. Since I became an adult and started having cats as pets on my own I only rescue from shelters. My calico now I rescued because the owner had found homes for all of his kittens except my Little Lightning, which is the cat in my pic with glowing eyes. 😂 cats are amazing pets and the get along fine with dogs when raised with them.
"Fat Freddy" was my orange tabby rescue. One of the smartest, well behaved cats I have ever known.
