Gizmo had no idea what to do – he felt betrayed and lost when he was abandoned in an industrial area. Luckily, Rafael Ramirez knew to call #HopeForPaws for help, so Katie McKittrick and Alex Babcock headed out right away.

There is a growing number of animals that are abandoned on the streets and in city/county shelters, and it’s just terrible. We are trying our best to get as many as possible, but it all depends on our ability to pay our huge vet bills.

For this holiday season, please join us as a member with a small monthly donation. For just $5 or $10 a month, you will become a Hope For Paws team member, and you will have a part in saving each one of these animals: https://www.HopeForPaws.org

Thank you #MuchLove for fostering Gizmo and for finding him a loving forever home for the holidays. They have more dogs for adoption, so please visit them: https://www.MuchLove.org

I really appreciate your support!

  1. ah that makes so much sense why he was growling and chasing his tail so aggressively. It was causing him pain so his fight or flight reflex took over….

  2. You guys are so smart I would have never thought of there being a problem with the tail. I have heard of animals chasing their tail and thought it odd. Now I can suggest they get it checked.

  3. So that was no regular tail chasing, it was actually hurting him, poor little guy. I wonder if some cretin may have swung him around by his tail to cause that break. The abandonment of "covid quarantine" dogs and cats is a super special sort of low-down for people. They should be so ashamed of themselves, but everything's all about them and their comfort…typical mask-wearing trendy lockdown dopes. So glad Gizmo was saved and got his forever home!

  4. The whole HFPs team is amazing! I actually like his tail better this way & obviously Gizmo does too. No more attacking his tail. That was almost scary to watch.

  5. GiZmOOO! We love Gizmo!! What a little sweetheart. I can't bear to think of these angels sitting alone and afraid; it's too much sometimes. 🥺 Thank you for being so strong.

  6. Poor baby…a broken tail…must be so painful..
Wondering if someone did that to him and then dumped him…🤔
Thankfully, he now found his forever home…👍💐💞
    Great name for him, Gizmo.😉
