  1. Base jumper: "People often think of base jumpers as being crazy, but in truth, all they ever want to do is fly."

Me: "I fly too…in an airplane…as God intended."

  2. I was stationed in San Diego with US Navy at NAS Miramar (at the time it was still the "Top Gun" school and the movie was filmed whilst there and Tom Cruise is a wanker, but I digress). As I was driving across the bridge from San Diego to North Island (my friend was SEAL instructor there), a 6.7 earthquake struck while I was mid-span and approximately 330 feet above the water). Imagine driving along and suddenly your car is bouncing around from lane to lane as you see yourself getting closer to the rail. Luckily nobody was hurt, but cars got dented as they struck each other and I came to a stop about 2 feet from the side. That will definitely wake you up from being a complacent driver, eh?

  3. I had lighting hit a tree that I had been stood understand something made me feel I had to move fast I look back as I ran to a different tree and I seen the tree hit by the lighting and set the tree on fire 🔥 I was pregnant at the time and was due to have my baby

  4. The clip where the lightning hit the tree and landed on the roof you should have seen the full clip it wasn't but a minute earlier that a guy was walking that same spot and went into that building

  5. Kabir, If you can get a copy of footage from the 1889 Johnstown, Pennsylvania flood. There’s a film that won an Emmy for this disaster. Johnstown has three major floods, but the 1889 flood resulted in the deaths of over 2,000 people.

  6. In Washington state we have earthquake. I been through 3 of them. We were moving from one house to another. The kids were at the new house we were getting the last of the load & it hit. We called the kids. Could get through to them. This was before cell phones. This is in Washington state again. We have lots of evergreen trees. We have eagles in these trees. Will lighting hit there tree. Cut the eagles nest in half. These nest are huge. It killed the male eagle. Mom & babies were safe. Eagles mate for life. Can't remember if the tree damage there house.

  7. 16:14 “They had only just set up the equipment, when part of the glacier’s edge began to collapse…”

At what point do you consider the possibility that YOU caused this?

I’m assuming they’re in a helicopter, or something.

If no sooner than you’ve turned your cameras on, shit starts immediately going south… I would think to myself, “Oh shit, what have I done?”

  8. Kentucky is known for caves and karst systems. The Corvette museum was a victim of a sinkhole that collapsed under the building. CCTV in the building caught the collapse. Ingesting to watch.

There used to be a whole family called The Flying Wallendas. They were tightrope walkers. There is a video of their patriarch falling to his death while attempting a very dangerous walk.

  9. The first one with the plane flying around the city was scary to me after 9/11. Just too scary to see planes that low. You’re afraid they’re going to crash into buildings. I thought it was a stupid stunt. They should have alerted people about that one. The bike going through traffic like that was crazy. He’s very lucky he didn’t get hurt.

  10. I haven't done any free falling as these guys did but I have been skydiving. There is a bit of free falling there. It is a miraculous feeling. There is no sound after your chute opens and more like looking down to earth that gives you the feeling of God's eye view. At least for me. The closer you get to the ground the more white noise you hear.
Living in Alaska for 11 years, I experienced several earthquakes. Not a good feeling! One night I was jerked awake, in a Queen size bed, that jumped a foot to North and then jumped back to the exact spot it was originally. I know because you could see the marks left on the carpet. Another made me quite dizzy as I was walking down the street and everything looked wavy. The electric & street light poles were swaying back and forth like pipe cleaners. It was hard to keep my balance and that is when the cars started piling up, running into each other. One such quake was in dead of winter causing me to slide on the ice. I ended up underneath a parked car. Scary!
I watch for your new videos as they are always interesting and a variety of topics. Especially love the Pentatonix videos! They are a great band. Love your accent too! Will be here for more, Thanks. Stay Safe!

  11. I went to at&t one time cuz I was having an issue with my cell phone. As I walked in I pulled my phone out and dropped it. It hit the floor on its corner and it bounced, I immediately caught it right out of the air. The only person to see it was a store clerk and he was impressed. I'm sure he showed people security footage of it happening

  12. In Arizona, it is called Lane Splitting. And is LEGAL !!! Wen I see someone doing it, next to me, I just want to open my door. I figure they should have known better.

  13. Cricket is not that prevalent in the United States in fact I don't think I've ever seen one ever or even colleges play it. Baseball is our game.

  14. This isn’t an “unbelievable” observation but just a comment that the rocket clip made me think of. I live near Kennedy Space Center here in Florida and seeing Space Shuttle night launches while growing up (they decommissioned the shuttles) was such an amazing sight to see. The way it lit up the sky, feeling the sonic boom which would literally rattle your house and windows, the speed at which it moved, and being able to watch/see the boosters come off and fall was both awe inspiring and beautiful. Luckily we still have launches of SpaceX rockets which are comparable and seem to launch at night more often than not. Don’t get me wrong, daytime launches are a sight to see as well but the contrast of the flames/light against a night sky is something I would recommend anyone to witness.

  15. That motorcycle driving between lanes makes me so mad! That is So dangerous, and not just for the cyclist. We do our best to see and give bearth to motorcycles and then they do something stupid like this. Bad idea.

  16. Sorry for filling up your comments session!
I thought of several moments in my 65 years that people wouldn’t believe unless they saw it, or they knew me &/or my late husband personally. Many of those moments were outdoors in the middle of nowhere, as they involved wild animal sightings and encounters. Those are my favorite moments. Top moment was probably 30 years ago when driving home with my husband at 3am from a friend’s home in the lake areas of what we simply call, the North Woods. Suddenly we see a wolf pup sitting alongside the shoulder of the road. Then another, and another, as we drove slowly, slowly by. In total we never could get their exact count because they kept running around from sibling to sibling, but it was either 5 or 6, and they only looked to be between 12-14 weeks old. They didn’t seem bothered by our car or it’s sounds, so we had enough time to turn around and take another long, slow look. Finally, my husband stopped the car and turned it off, keeping the headlights on one that caught his eye. One curious fellow was completely dazzled by the moths that quickly swarmed to our headlights, and he came up to the front of the car for a better look. We could see no signs of the elder pack members, but we knew they were watching closely. Several times we heard one or two adults howl from the tree lines, but they didn’t sound upset, & everything stayed cool. All told we must have watched all this over 20-30 minutes. This just doesn’t happen to my city friends, like – ever! All of a sudden, all the adults start howling, and we watched as the one little fellow in front of us, abruptly plopped down his butt on the tarmac, threw his head back to the sky, and joined in the chorus giving it his all – after all, he’s a Wolf! – showing us his best efforts with his newly discovered voice. All the pups chimed in and we had about a minute of some wonderful canine howling harmony, even if one or two were just a bit flat still.
It would have been nice to be able to share this with friends, but in the end, we decided it was actually more dear to us because only we had seen it, and we had that shared memory which no one could encroach on. They’d have to get their own story to tell. True story, every word, and one of my favorite moments in time.

  17. If a sink hole opened up in front of me, I might just be tempted, in the moment, to throw my car in reverse and to hell with who’s back there!
Get my meaning? Self preservation runs deep! Haha

  18. I haven’t BASE jumped but I have skydived with a pretty long freefall (45 seconds). It’s an easy week-long endorphin rush the first time but it never stops being exhilarating no matter how much you do it. I highly recommend it. Also, splurge and get a video done the first time. It’s great.

  19. 1/3/2013 a sinkhole swallowed a man in bedroom, it was in Tampa Florida. They never found him. 2 years later it opened up again. LOTS of sinkholes in Florida.

  20. After 9/11 I am sure you can understand why people did not appreciate that political stunt by the Governor of Tennessee. This is the kind of crap that Trump-loving Republicans do…they put themselves over the people, no matter how dangerous their actions are. Democrats are the party of WE, WE, WE and the Republicans are the party of ME, ME, ME

  21. I don't understand your weird attitude about the motorcycle through New York one. Filtering is perfectly legal and an everyday super common thing in the UK, so you should be well familiar with motorcycles going past your car window in a traffic jam! Also in California, it's perfectly legal, and they are going waaay faster on the highways than just puttering along in city traffic-which is what was shown in the N.Y. vid. "Unbelievable"? lol that's a pretty low bar to try and pass off as camera worthy. Jeez, they even had to artificially speed up the video to gasp OMG look at the reckless fool killing nuns and children! Auuuugh!
