  1. Icy conditions, wet roads require safer speeds which many drivers seem to ignore. Add to that the tendency of some drivers to tailgate gives you some nightmarish feeling on the road. Sad.

  2. Are you going to have experienced firefighters and cops with traffic they could’ve had a few cop cars a couple miles back slowing down traffic see Florida highway patrol they’re used to that so that’s kind of what they do that way you know there’s an accident ahead and to slow down because these people had police and firefighters there and still had people crashing into them and wondering why well that’s why

  3. I live in Crowley, TX and I work near Dallas. I was heading home from work when I seen this happened and I remember seeing some of the crushed vehicles with other things Discretion Sad and just sickening things. I think about this everyday. My heart goes out to all of these people and the families to those passed and injured. RIP 😔

  4. Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts! meeting Mr Johnson was the turning point of my life, I earned 5btc within 3 months of trading with him, I don't see failure as the end, keep pushing.

  5. I was leaving for work that day and I had to take the i35 road to work to go to work near lake Arlington, and thank God I woke up late that day because, when I got onto the highway there was already a big pile up of traffic. I have recordings of this driving by it, that was a horrible day!!! My mom's friends husband was killed in that crash

  6. Ok, in hindsight….. I'm not a police officer, obviously, but what if when a first incident occurs on an interstate, the responding officer, firefighter, EMT personnel, could give a description of the incident, and the alert would automatically go out not just to police, but to all vehicles in a 2 mile radius or something. It would be impossible to ignore–like blaring trumpets in your car or flashing red lights. Even if not every make and model had them, everyone else would be on heightened alert.
It's a personal freedom/public safety problem, I know, but I think: if enough people saw how easy it is for something like this to happen, they would be willing to give up a few personal liberties–TEMPORARILY–until the danger is removed.
Just my two cents for now. I don't like the idea of living in a police state any more than the next person, but these incidents are exceptional, and might be prevented if a small concession to personal liberty is made.
I don't like the idea of governments or businesses tracking the crap out of everyone either; but if you can turn off all the privacy concerns, at least for a temporary time, that might actually save lives.
It's a tough call. After all, people have fought and died for liberties, after all, and only to have them taken away in the name of safety is not a concession people should be quick to make.

  7. The real question is why tf are semi drivers driving so fast in these conditions, semi/18 wheelers are dangerous vehicles. Small charges need to be put against them for putting lives at risk

  8. I feel so bad, I was so lucky that my mom decided to keep us home instead of going outside for school, even though she didn't know this was going on. Please stay safe!
