Ancient white dwarf ,that's over 6 billion years old ,is interesting ,fits in with some research going back to about 7 billion years ago i'm working on ,then (Galactic tides) & (binary) & 4.5 billion years ago hot jupiter and the death of a star blowing away it's shell ,resetting the orbits in the solar system in question ,Genesis 1 verse 2 = 14 billion years ago ,then Genesis 1 verse 6 = 4.5 billion years ago and then the odd and very old white dwarf = your 6 billion & my 7 billion research marker ,,matches and aligns ,the light hovering over the void 14 billion years ago ,dark energy consciousness Mind over matter ,not quantum mechanics ,it's real but too dim for the JW to spot it caused the 23.5 degree tilt ,asteroid belt between Jupiter and Mars and may have made the kuiper belt ,kinda like you were describing a star''s shell being blown off and pushed out it 's ,far beyond the kuiper belt ,it drags debris as it comes closer to earth ,that's what took out the dinosaurs = Galactic tides/binary and undiscovered ,it all lines up separated & independent cool research ,i need to subscribe

   Catalog and index or sky coordinates (Right Ascension and Declination) are a pretty straightforward classification and astronomers have my permission to keep using that!
   Srsly, stars and worlds get names after we find something interesting about them, so go ahead nickname them little nugget and cold ember or something

4. It would seem that the galactic wind would become a much larger factor, and as the dwarf moves through it the so called front is compressed inward and pushes debris inward. As the orbits carry the debris into the windward side it gets pushed inward. Also the outer layers of the star expand, not all of the material would have the same momentum. A significant portion may well start to rain inward due to gravity of the dwarf. A sort of vacuum around the dwarf after the nova would draw things inward. A mass gradient.

5. Fast forward, a long time, until a white dwarf has cooled down to the cold temperature of remote space. What does a cold white dwarf look like?

9. When I was in high school I asked my science teacher who was a pretty cool guy how long will the sun keep on shining.
   Students in the classroom broke out laughing at my question. The teacher said I was worried about the sun going out.
   I thought that was a fair question, after all we were in a science class.
   People all through the school year and beyond poked fun at me asking that question.

   Looking back the teacher should have given me a truthful answer and not be little a student.

11. Could new planets form out of the planetary nebula after the red giant phase? From material that was Mercury, Venus, maybe Earth.

12. Dr. Andrew Vanderburg's surname "Vanderburg" is odd. "Van" is Dutch for "from" or "of." It should be followed by "den" meaning "the" + "berg" meaning "mountain" (like Vandenberg Air Force Base) but it isn't. It's followed by two German words of the same meaning. It would be interesting to see the etymology of this name!

14. Poor Mercury is going to get completely vaporized! So something that wasn't answered… How long does the actual process from when the Sun is starting it's red giant process to when it's fully expanded? Once it can no longer hold it together, are we talking mere seconds for it to bloat up? Or does it's expansion take hundreds or millions of years?

15. I really enjoyed this video. I do have a follow up question though. If the sun and it’s main sequence ends when it starts producing iron does that mean that in a few trillion years the sun would theoretically be able to have solid mass to be able to stand on once it cools off? Would geothermal be a possibility if you were to be able to build on the sun once it cools down enough. As always thank you for all of your research.

16. Further to the idea that as a star loses mass the orbits of planets will move outwards and have a better chance at surviving. There is a counter argument that closer in planets like Earth might not. As the star loses mass the vicinity around the star ends up with a larger diffuse atmosphere from all the gas it's giving off and this slows a planets orbit bringing it inwards.

22. One issue I have not heard you address is the planet becoming tidally locked to the white dwarf and only having one face being exposed to light and heat. All of the water and most of the gas will be deposited on the cold side until most of the atmosphere will be locked up in ice.

24. There you go again descriptively explaining how the sun would die. Remember in your last video when you admitted to not knowing anything about the universe? Here you are conveying a baseless opinion without any proof. When I took atmospheric science in University we would have to cite and reference our information from credible researchers. If we didn't we would be expelled for plagiarism. I tried finding any link to research or studies regarding the subject matter being discussed in this video. The only link was to a Newsletter that you yourself operate in conjunction with Patreon to illicit a profit through subscription. Nowhere in this newsletter URL could I find any credible source backing your claims you make in this video. This quick inquiry I made was solely pertaining to you. You haven't even done your due diligence in providing any credible sources to support what your guest is claiming as truth. As a journalist who is supplying disinformation can get you up to 5 years in prison. It would be unfortunate if you get reported for this.

28. All this talk of gravity changing because of the sun blowing off its layers is very well, but while this is happening, the planets will be moving through material being thrown off. Lots of material. Will this not have its effect? It seems it would blow off much of the atmospheres of the outer gas giants, and if earth still has an atmosphere at that point, all of that will get blown off, too.
