Artifacts Underground In Mine - Ore Cars, Skip Car, Column For Drill & More After Deep Descent ⛏️
Spread The Viralist

Getting to this abandoned mine was no easy feat, but, finding all the mining equipment underground was worth it. This five level mine has several pieces of large equipment left in it making for an interesting underground explore. While exploring the main level we find a winze shaft, complete with skip rails and sketchy ladders, that we rope down to access the different levels. On the different levels we find various pieces of equipment like ore cars, skip car, water and air tanks, dynamite boxes, cans and hand tools.
This lead/silver mine operated from 1910 into the 1950’s during which time over 36,000 tons of ore were mined.
We hope you enjoy the video!

  1. That’s sad to see someone stealing those parts off the ore carts I’m pretty sure I seen a video that those ore carts were rolling on the tracks I can’t really remember what video I seen because I watch so many of the mine explores people like Frank , Justin from tvr, Gly and miner 49er and whole lot more and of course you and Julie but it just pi$&@ me off to people just can’t leave it alone so other people can enjoy seeing it when they explore but anyway love the video and you guys be safe out and have a great thanksgiving my friends

  2. Just found y'all's channel this past week and really enjoy it a great deal!

it is so freaking awesome that a couple goes out together to do things like this! Hell – I couldn't get a woman to tell me what time it was but Tom managed to snag Julie? 😀

Seriously. Thanks for posting these videos – it encourages other couples to go out and DO THINGS TOGETHER.

    🙂

  3. so much stuff in this one, awesome artifacts! love the old cars way down in there… looks like it was somewhat modern, i see the 59 mark… with the home made looking car and nice ladders/ interesting people worked like that even more recently… awesome exploration as usual, thanks for taking us with you

  4. Another Brilliant mine explore. Are the mines you visit freely available to explore by anyone? Or do you need a special permit or permission?? Are especially dangerous mines forever closed to explorers? What precautions do you both take before entering a mine as far as making someone aware of your whereabouts etc. sorry for all the questions 😅

  5. When you see a lot of mines in the UK they are full of water,do you get many in the dryer areas in the US. In the early days of mining in North America would there be many Cornish miners.

  6. funny you would say they like the juices maybe it was for water or the water could have been that bad too around them mone site too from the blasting we have a seismograph company blasting around here in the 1970's my stepparents said to look for oil the country was interested in
the collapse of many water wells in the country so we were not lucky ours were to colla[pse and did find water to have larger coal vines throw the valley to get past the vine's fine water too just to get past it was too a problem here but we did fine water 7 years a go and the ground shock to for many days after too the valley has water again the same seismograph company was hired again to collapse the wells in the valley private land it now i own all of it i did not like them on my land their vehicle is still on my land and will be for a long time taken 4 years to have the case in court lucky for me i did not land up in jail too
waiting for an answer from the courts in the new year for the damages done to the wells around the country too

  7. For some reason am not getting notifications from your channel? 3:12 Air Tank, you can tell because of the pressure blow off cap that you see up top , water tanks do not have that feature. A word of advice to any Mine Explorers, use caution when picking up TNT wrappers, not because of it going boom but the Nitroglycerin in the paper can seep into your skin and give you a gnarly powder headache. 11:03 4X = 80% Nitroglycerin – we call these Rock Sticks and they are used in extremely hard rock only. 13:24 yep swivel plat, hard to believe that the truck (wheels) just up and sprouted wings and flew off, I had a Stamp Mill do that, gal darn High Grades anyway! 14:11 Jack Leg is the proper term. Canned goods were a Miners RED BULL.17:02 Sadly in the artifacts market the wheels are often worth more then the whole thing plus other miners often just high grade (steal) the trucks. Fun Explore and so much worth commenting I 'd better stop before this comment is deemed a book.

  8. Ring that Bell Julie!! Well that's some twisted ladders. And some beautiful colors and I finally got to see it skip car cool. They sure left a lot of stuff down there. It really is like a time capsule down there very cool. Do you think they dug out that huge room all by hand and explosives? Or is there a chance that's a natural cavern? I remember those chocolate babies crazy.

  9. Ya got to start noticing the little things that worked for them at their time! 5:56, notice what is holding up the working platform above, the left side was cut to shape and the right side, they pounded the snot out of 5 wedges.

  10. Another great mine explore! The road getting up there was very rough. Thanks for showing us some of the things that are left underground. Amazing finds and explore. How long were you in that mine? Take care looking forward to your next one as usual.

  11. Thanks Tom & Julie for this mine explore; I really appreciate your mining knowledge as you add the commentary while videoing. Question: At the end of the video, as you are driving down the road, there are some sort of plants(?) growing on the ridge to the right and then in the open space below. They seem to be sort of evenly spaced–not random. What are they or what is it?
Thanks for all of your efforts; it is really enjoyable for me to tag along from here in Salem, Oregon!

  12. I just can't imagine carving out those big stopes so deep underground – amazing hauling all of that material out with those small skip cars (that skip car was a nice find!) Thanks Tom and Julie.

  13. Excellent I liked everything you showed lots of equipment down there even had ice machine oil they had their own darn ice machine for their drinks just being stupid great explore
    you guys

  14. Yes l enjoyed your video. 4 or 5 inches of snow has fallen. It’s winter now, makes hard walking. A million thanks for keeping me entertained. From. St. Paul Minnesota.

  15. Wow what a great mine exploring adventure! It’s nice when you find a mine full of equipment that even though the ore cars have had their manufacturing plates removed by seekers , left these intact and doesn’t look like any graffiti damage. How many levels did this mine have? Great video as always! Thanks again and more safe adventures!

  16. Watching you driving away I wonder how you don't get lots of punctures?

Be intersting to see some filming of you traveling to the sites.

What do you carry in your back packs?

  17. Another "Good Times" Explore! Q? -what air pressure do you run -do drive offroad especially when its real rocky? jus wondering…jd
