This was well timed. Too many people suffer trauma from their childhood. Myself included. Dealing with mental, emotional and physical attacks from those whom a child could never defend themselves against is an incredibly hard thing to do. I remember the day my mother stopped hitting me. I was 17 and when I raised my fist and hand to defend myself, she walked away. She knew, not again. However, provision never got any better.
