Here’s How Lionel Messi Lives in 2022

Leo Messi has been showing phenomenal performances on the football pitch this season and we attribute this to the fact that he’s finally adapted in Paris! In this video we’ll tell you how the legendary Argentine lives in 2022, what he does outside of football, what he drives and much more!

Be sure to like this video and let’s get started!

Messi’s house in Paris

You would probably expect Leo Messi, having moved to Paris, to choose some pompous house to live in that would match the city and his star status. However, the Argentine surprised us. Messi and his family decided not to buy a house and live in a rental.

So what is this place? The house is located in a luxurious area in the Paris city center Neuilly-sur-Seine. Leo pays 20,000 euros a month to rent the house with a balcony overlooking the Eiffel Tower. Given his income, this sum looks very modest as the Argentine earns it in just 2 hours of his life.

Messi’s house is a two-story building with a total area of 300 square meters. There are 4 bedrooms inside and outside there’s a small garden where he can play football with his kids as well as the giant dog Hulk. One of the reasons why Leo decided to choose this house was also that his countrymen Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes were his neighbors there until recently.

A state-of-the-art security system has been installed in the house, which includes both technical support and staff, because Leo’s main requirement when moving in was the ability to lead a quiet and safe lifestyle.

It should be noted that Messi almost moved into a real castle on the outskirts of Paris near the Bois de Boulogne. But the owner, having learned how wealthy his client was, overcharged him for the rent. Leo didn’t like this approach and decided to choose a more modest option.

All his three children – Thiago, Mateo and Ciro – go to the American School of Paris. It’s an exclusive international school located in Saint-Cloud, on the outskirts of the capital, about 9 kilometers from the Eiffel Tower. The school has about 800 students of more than 60 nationalities who speak about thirty different languages. For Leo and Antonella, it’s important that their children not only get a good education, but also get to know different cultures. So this option was perfect. There are many children of businessmen and diplomats among the school students, which is not surprising, given the school’s status.

What car fleet does Leo have

You might not be able to tell this from Leo, but he’s a big car fan. Otherwise, how to explain that there’s a car in his fleet that alone is worth more than Cristiano Ronaldo’s entire fleet! Intrigued? OK, here we go.

The fact is that in 2016, Leo bought a rare 1957 Ferrari 335S Spider Scaglietti at an auction. For the pleasure of owning such a unique model, Messi paid about 36 million dollars. At the time, the purchase became a record for cars sold at auction. What’s interesting is that this auction was held in Paris.

But what’s even more fantastic is the information published by Marca. Leo competed for this car with… Cristiano Ronaldo! That’s right, their rivalry went even beyond the football pitch. Commenting on the new purchase, Messi posted this humorous photo, which he captioned “My new car.”

According to unconfirmed reports, Leo also has a Pagani Zonda Roadster in his garage, which PSG paid for when he signed the contract. It is one of the most expensive racing cars in the world, worth 4 million dollars. Such a car cannot be driven around town as it is intended only for special racing tracks.

As for ordinary cars for everyday driving, Messi also has enough of those. For example, he has a Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe, a Cadillac Escalade, two Range Rovers, three Audis and other cars at his disposal.

Hobbies and leisure

Leo likes to spend his free time with his family and friends. And, of course, with his giant dog Hulk. It’s no secret that Luis Suarez and Cesc Fabregas are among the Argentine’s closest friends. The players’ families are friends as well and they regularly meet and vacation together. Judging by Antonella’s Instagram, they’ve spent time together at least 3 times this year. It’s interesting that, although they all play in different countries, they still find time to meet from time to time. Respect!

Of course, Messi, as a decent man, doesn’t forget to pay attention to his wife. Antonella regularly posts photos from dates with Leo, where they spend time together. And living in such a romantic city as Paris only contributes to that.
