I would predict that in 2040 we will have had a asteroid protection nuke. It would be a space station type vehicle with a homing nuke that will set off and explode the asteroid breaking it into two or more peices.wouldn’t surprise me if it was built by NASA too

The San Andreas Fault line is a slip plate meaning two plates grind side to side. So yes it can produce large earthquakes, however these earthquakes have a short duration and don’t produce large tsunamis. However the Juan de fuca plate off the coast of Northern California, Oregon, Washington and BC is a subduction zone which produces long lasting quakes and massive tsunamis. As the plate disappears under the North American, the friction between the two pulls down part of the North American plate down with it. As the pressure grows, so does the scale of the quake. So yes the San Andreas fault is dangerous, however it cannot produce the amount of destruction from the Juan de fuca plate or any other subduction fault line.

Can someone pls explain how scientist calculate the amounts of volcanic ash, volumetric flow of lava and landslides even forthcoming cataclismic events they know exactly how much the ash, debri, the rainfall flow, human deathtoll, vegetation destruction and animal deaths will be etc. It is as if these extra terestrial scientist know everything that is connected to the impossible. Maybe i got the wrong calculator.
