Portland Oregon is a nightmare if you speak up for people and look at things from both sides.
I was basically canceled locally there.
It all started because a coat chech girl in a club stole my friends bag and blamed me. My friend new it wasn't me because he was with me, but people wouldn't listen and just kept up the rumors and added lies to it. It was at a time when I was defending people in a twelve step program that were being abused. People in the gay LGBTQ community wouldn't even talk to me, except my Freind's.
Funny how they would use the term toxic masculinity on some of my Freind's for saying the wrong word and start a hate campaign, but said nothing to their Freind that went to jail for beating his partner?
Now they are trying to cancel other people I know that do nothing but help others.

I am a huge fan of yours, thank you for all your ongoing work to bring to light Covid related harms. I'm also a licensed clinical social worker very concerned about children and families. Please don't forget when you discuss the harms of school closures, its critical to include in the "most harmed" bracket children with IEPs, learning differences, etc. The equity discussion usually gets framed around minorities or socioeconomically disadvantaged. But 1 in 4 children today are diagnosed with a neurodevelopmental disorders. Many of these kids could not access their education on screens, and kids who would have been newly identified were overlooked. Not to mention the continued mental health pandemic…Thank you
