  1. I suggest calling those inbeetweeners "scullys", "borderboos" or "fenceys"….

Regarding those ghost hunts.. Is there a reason why it has to be done in the dark? I mean if someone lives for a while in a haunted house, usually creepy stuff happens even on bright daylight. I also wonder if ghosts even sence the difference between day and night.
Sure it's more scary in the night and outside much more quiet so the human mind is not as distracted but.. I don't know.. This bugs me for a while now.

That leads me to another question.. Would you guys stay at a haunted place for 7 days?

Sorry for bad English and greetings from Germany. You guys rock!

  2. As a shaneiac I would LOVE to hear a ghost say out loud, a 3+ syllable word. They're all little blip words. Say elephant. Say wheelbarrow. Say orthodontics

  3. I can never really take it seriously when they react to the house creaking. Old houses just do that tbh. Like my house is from the 40's and there's just random kinds loud creaking a night. It's just a thing especially if there more than one story

  4. Did you guys have the correct angle in the cemetery, just looked like you needed to go one more gate to the left of current POV. Love you, Ghoul Boys, and love the show – Also the Professor rocks. Thank you for all the entertaining endeavors – keep them coming, please!

  5. As to a name for the inbetweeners, I posit calling them “liminals.” Because liminal is defined as “1. relating to a transitional or initial stage of a process.” Or the second definition is the one that relates to this situation the most: “occupying a position at, or on both sides of, a boundary or threshold.” Love you boys and love the channel! 😁👻

  6. The inbetweeners should be called mediums bc they’re in the middle of the spectrum and can or can’t communicate with spirits

  7. I commend Ryan for always being in a good mood and laughing even when Shane really gets on his case about stuff lol I'd be getting genuinely irritated with Shane often I think, like sheesh man being KINDA RUDE lol (but i am also v sensitive so thats a factor lmao)

  8. Actually, the boys spooky-dressing up on November 2nd wouldn't be out of place at all. Remember Día de muertos (day of the dead) is still a thing. Yes I know there in USA you don't celebrate that but who cares lmao use any excuse you can to justify your mistake and be happy

  9. I was a STEM major and I'm a natural skeptic…but my extremely overactive imagination STILL creeps me out in dark, spooky places. It's the worst of both worlds! I KNOW there's nothing there, but if I let myself get spooked, my stupid ape nerves can't stop screaming that I'm in danger, lmao.

So even though Shane is sort of the reason I'm able to watch and enjoy the show — because none of this is good science (sorry Ryan!) or adequate 'evidence' by rigorous standards, and having someone involved acknowledge that makes it legit for me — Ryan is still such a necessary part of the equation, even apart from it being his brainchild. He humanizes everything with his enthusiasm and his belief, because most of us have had that sudden surge of a panic response that made us run down some stairs in the dark, because of some sudden, irrational feeling of danger behind us — whether we're skeptics or not!

Shane's skepticism makes the premise tolerable for me, but it's Ryan who makes it relatable.

I'd LIKE to believe I'd be able to do what Shane does, holding onto what I know and being unbothered……….but I'm pretty sure I'd end up being creeped out in spite of myself.

    The weirdness of being human.
