My money is on Russia venting unburnt gas (methane) directly into the atmosphere in an attempt to "terraform" the climate (by raising global temperatures, they make their own land more arable).

Late October and still warm temperatures for Germany. We are enjoying days with 20 – 25 degrees. People are still wearing t-shirts outside.
I haven't switched on the heating yet and I don't feel the need for it. Normally houses are heated since the 1st October, so 1 month of savings is not bad at all!
And, since the prices on the markets are decided by the demand, if people are able to save on their heating costs, the prices might further fall.
All signs point to there being a lot of weather this winter, and it's not just going to be scattered weather here and there, but most likely affecting all geographic areas to some degree. That said, I think Britain and the Mediterranean countries will largely avoid most weather, but central Europe will get more than usual. Eastern Europe will start out getting a lot of weather, but it should subside by February.

I still fail to see how any of this actually affects Russia economically. They have already signed agreements with China, India and Turkey to provide energy. Also, at no point has Russia's economy been reliant on any other country. It produces everything it uses essentially. You're still stuck in a western mindset.

Hopefully people are able to create a methane gas chamber to use as cooking fuel outside… Or using a rocket stove to store/ channel any additional heat into their homes… I could see people in community coming together and utilizing what they have to help each other… Becoming more understanding of the suffering states and end this madness of the fear and illusionary based concepts of lack… There are many facets that can be brought forth.
End the useless financial system that requires people to get loans for homes, transportation and food…
