  1. If I go to heaven when I die I want to firstly be met by all the dogs I've had as pets over the years, so many beautiful souls that have shone a glorious light in even the darkest of times. My family, my friends all the humans I've loved can wait their turn, my dogs will come first.

  2. My GSDs breeder is part of FEMA Penn Task Force 1 and was at ground zero in 9/11 with her dog Logan.

My dog’s littermate is now an urban SAR dog as well.

  3. This is what I remember fro 9/11 They were whining because they couldn't find ppl. First aid centers with vets were there wrapping
the paws. It made me cry the most.

  4. I volunteered at the trade tower from September 13th until the 17th I distinctly remember the German Shepherds and golden retriever dogs searching on the pile their paws were taped up forming little protective boots.

  5. She will remain a hero. Such a lovely dog. It's hard to watch the whole video without crying. And yes its always heartbreaking when its time to say goodbye to our dogs but they will always remain in our Hearts. Her name is Bretagne, i see a lot of people calling her Brittany. Actually Bretagne is a part of France where i come From but in English its more common to say Britany. RIP sweet dog ❤️🐶

  6. I heard that a lot of the dogs actually got depressed over only finding dead bodies and not actually any survivors. Just shows dogs are just as, if not more emotional than humans. Just pure love and compassion with dogs.

  7. Very sad 9-11-2001 very sad time for 🇺🇸 America very sad today and the years after we will never forget so many soul lost people and dogs❤❤❤rest in peace❤❤❤

  8. The dogs got so stressed and sad because they are trained to rescue lives not to recover the dead.. kudos to these rescuers and other people volunteered to bury themselves and let the dogs find them just to cheer them up..

  9. Dogs make me believe that we're not the only ones who have souls. Those furry angels must have souls, and they deserve our kindness and respect. Hurts to think they are mistreated, abused, and killed around the world. We don't deserve them

  10. I'm in tears.. Thank you for your Service Brittany.. and to all the other Service animals who did their part on 9 11..
    Godspeed

  11. Awwww Bretagne…I have always loved her sweet story. Rest In Peace precious girl. 😢🙏❤️ I cried when they gave her her farewell. I remember this on the news 😢😢😢😢
