Oh how quickly people forget… two of the worse storms to hit Florida, were the 1893 un-named storm that killed thousands, all because we didn't have a hurricane warning system at the time. estimated as only a category three, this storm brought with it a large storm surge which is what did all the damage in the Florida Keys. Then there was the record-breaking Hurricane Andrew. I haven't heard a single MSN organization mention this storm. the devastation to south Florida was unreal. Striking in August of 1992, Andrew had windspeeds of 177 mph as a CAT 5 storm on the Staford-Simpson scale and did 53 billion dollars (in today's value), which is still a record, though it may topple with this latest storm. Andrew claimed 44 lives in its reign of terror over through the Bahamas, Florida, where it exited the state as a Cat. 4 hurricane, then slamming into Louisan as a still very powerful Cat 3 storm, doing plenty of damage there as well. Anybody who thinks these are caused by global warming, is just plain nuts. Hurricanes are as unpredictable as any weather pattern. though we can see them for days, and make ballpark predictions as to where they might go, the science still isn't perfect. If you receive an evacuation order, it's best to heed it.

Stop saying “climate change.” Everybody acknowledges that the climate has changed since climate was created. The myth is that by sending lots of money to authoritarians to take over every aspect of our liberty and labor those in charge can control the climate.
