1. Incredible service and leadership. The statistics are the good not the bad. No one can be negative against the royal family now. Life of honour no a life of privilehpge. She was a puppet with nopower . Never for her her own pr -the royal family was akways pr! Changes swuabbling bitterbess,butwhwt has the queen done inthis context. 3. It is very strange to know that she is not here. I am not English, I am Romanian, so I never really knew anything as though it was my country. But Queen Elizabeth has been there since before my great grandarents before, and it's just strange to know she's no longer with us. I hope some one understands what I am trying to say. She has been the Queen as long as I can remember, and as long as the lot of my family has been here as well. May Queen Elizabeth rest in peace.

   Sadly there those like Steven Colbert who found something to laugh at in her death, his audience laughed when he mentioned it and he used it for a tirade of abuse on the UK.
   Not a shred of respect just a chancer milking the moment for a cheap shot.

   I was 5 years old when she became Queen and so I have known only a Queen for most of my life. She was a central point of reference in a disturbed world, someone who could bring us together as she did during COVID ("We WILL meet again") and someone who knew exactly the right words for any occasion like "Grief is the price we pay for love" in an address to President Bush the day after 9/11. her smile was renowned and she was a very beautiful woman but her sense of humour was legendary. Especially when things went wrong. When she spoke to you her eyes lit up and made you feel like there was only you. Ask me how I know.

   King Charles had Hamlet as a reference when he said "May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest". And I am sure she is somewhere with her beloved Philip totally bemused at the love being given from her peoples around the world and others. For her it was not about celebrity, or fame or ego. She was simply The Queen.

   God rest you Ma'am and thank you. Enjoy your marmalade sandwich.

14. I’m from the US, but Queen Elizabeth has always been the Queen. She became Queen when my grandparents were 7 years old back in 1952. RIP Your Majesty Queen Elizabeth and God Save the King

21. That was a sweet elegy but let's remember that she could have apologized for Britain's huge part in slavery and colonialism. She could have supported reparations. Yes, I liked her as a person from 3000 miles away but she could have done more as a leader regardless of the supposed limitations of the monarchy.

22. I'm from England and she's the only ruler of Great Britain i've ever know. Now that she's gone, the country and world feels so much different. Now that Charles is King, Camilla is Queen Console, William is Prince of Wales and Kate is Princess of Wales it's just so much different and so much change in just a few days.
