  1. Ok, no. It looks like he found the dog out in the country. First, just because she wasn’t chipped doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a home. People out in the country take care of their animals differently, many have livestock of their own & administer their own shots to their animals so they don’t go to a vet and get chipped. Second, in no way did that dog look like she hadn’t eaten in a month. That dog actually looked very well cared for, just because she was hungry doesn’t mean she didn’t have a home. I live out in the country and have four dogs, all very well cared for, none chipped, They have collars but they’re constantly falling off because they run around all over the property and they have to be collars that are easily pulled off so they don’t end up hurting themselves on fences so they’re constantly losing them and I’m finding them all over the property. I have 80 acres, 10 of which face a road. My dogs have free access to the property and at any point in time someone driving down the road could come across them and they would also be friendly. I would be absolutely devastated if someone just took my dog put in the car and took off with it. Just because you find a dog that’s friendly doesn’t mean you get to keep it. The responsible thing to do would’ve been to go to any homes in the area and confirm that dog did not have a home. My neighbors all have dogs that also have free reign if their property and can often be found going in between our properties, we all know whose dogs are who’s. Any home in the area probably would’ve known who that dog belong to. What they did is not to be applauded, it’s probably theft and there’s probably a very upset person wondering where their dog went.

  2. So, it seems some asshat dumped that poor loving, kind dog off there, and Roamee just waited. That is so wonderful that she found her furever home! Yaaay! 🤗🥰❣️

  3. I just rescued a little stray myself… He made his way to my home over the weekend after the whole neighborhood has been trying to catch him for the past 2 weeks! He's a different dog after only 2 nights at my house. Tomorrow is his vet appointment and from now on he is no longer a little wanderer… he is.. Boomer!

  4. Romee is absolutely beautiful. Makes me so sad that these animals that long for companionship are just out there all alone. Well done for doing the right thing and enriching all of your lives

  5. Rome is a sweetheart those solemn eyes like she's seeing through to your soul from eons to now…this dog knows….the force is strong with this one…
