10. Here we go again. These stories are a dime a dozen on the internet. Everyone sees or hears something but no real proof of it really happening.

12. I’m happy you followed your instincts and did not stop! This is definitely a tactic of these creatures, and you are correct there were other hiding in the woods, waiting!
    I say this is a tactic they use because of countless encounters like you described where they did stop, investigate only to find this creature stand up, while others began to approach from the woods to flank the person.
    These are the encounters I’ve listened to that we’re lucky and got away… how many of these similar encounters happened where they didn’t get away… I guess we will never know.
    One last thing… There was a woman who’s car was found of the side of the road, door open… her body found a few feet away mauled to death gruesomely.
    This story was in the papers in a small town in Virginia over a year ago. What animals were blamed for her death…. A pack of feral dogs!
    What they couldn’t figure out is…. Why did she get out of her car?? It was in working condition, yet for some reason she got out of her car..
    when you search for stories like this one I shared, you start to see a pattern, one that leads you as far as you want to dig.
