ABC15 obtained dash cam video Friday of a crash that happened two weeks ago, which killed a Florence County EMS medic and a motorcyclist she was helping.
We got a copy of the video through Freedom of Information. Some of the images in the video are blurred due to the graphic nature.
First responders and law enforcement officers were working a crash on Aug. 9 that involved two motorcycles who were hit by a car on Pamplico Highway near a car wash and used car lot, according to Florence County Sheriff T.J. Joye.
One of the motorcyclists crashed into several used cars and the injuries were severe.
The dash cam video shows a car drove around several emergency units that had created a safety barrier in the southbound lane and hit Florence County EMS medic Sara Weaver and the man on the stretcher she was helping, Cedric Gregg.

If she managed to drive around the safety barrier doesn't that mean that there wasn't a properly secured safety barrier in place? Is there a chance this could have been prevented if they had properly secured the road? We'll never know. Very sad.
