  2. The guy sliding on his hands reminded me of my 75 yard slide down the middle of the Highway. I had on brand new that day light weight summer gloves with the cutouts on the back. After the slide, the gloves were shredded and throwaways, but my hands were fine.

  3. I got rid of my paughco z bars because they are known collar bone breakers if you hit them in a crash. Didn't ever think about them puncturing my chest… Dam.

  4. Thank you, great lessons. I will buy a medi kit immediately and keep it on my bike.
It hurts badly just watching it (had my first crash last year, after 15 years of riding).

  5. I love your videos, and I understand ROKFORM sponsors you but cmon' stop hating on people that don't want to spend over $100 on a phone mount… Especially when there are plenty of good ones for MUCH less.

  6. Anyone going to mention the lack of foresight with thie first stunt? If the crash never even happened, what was the plan for getting stopped before that chainlink fencing?

Weirdest "is THIS your card?" trick… 🤣

  7. Helicopter rides are not fun .my Bill's were like 800.000$I'm alive and now I ride a tiny bike bit took ten or eleven years to heal and get back on track..it was hell and scary..was operated on 24 times some long some small but gor an infection had a rod in my femur taken out and replaced later on..it was horible..and you cant get a break was the hardest thing iv ever done and almost killed me after making it..if you know what I mean.. was tuff on the soul

  8. On the interstate video I would be timing myself when I first see the car merging. I don't wait until he is right beside me. Back off or add throttle to keep my space cushion and everything goes smoothly. In fact whenever I see a merging issue that's what I try to do even if someone is changing lanes right beside me. When I see them getting NEAR the white stripe I assume they are either merging and don't see me or just a very poor driver and I want to stay away from them. Keep everything moving smoothly so there never is an issue.

  9. I think I see that they have obstacles set up in the background so I'm assuming that it's a trials event and the crash was a planned promotional stunt. At an event like that they should have EMTs standing by. The guy should have been attended to in seconds.

  10. I've been riding bikes since 1973 and consider myself a pretty good rider. I know and apply many of the concepts than Dan teaches. But, for as smart as I think I am, I always learn something from watching his videos. Thank you, Dan.

  11. Hey Dan, just wanted to say thank you. your videos had me prepared for a incident I just had recently. I had to rescue a rider. Luckily we both were trained and had proper equipment.

  12. So I remember watching one of your videos where you talked about after a crash people lingering around just watching and being in the way. So today out on a poker run we come around a blind corner and find several cars backed up and about 8 motorcycles pulled towards the shoulder and I'm immediately concerned about a car coming up behind us and hitting us all. So we begin to go around and see a guy down on the road bleeding pretty bad. So since I was leading the group of 5 bikes I was with I made the decision to keep moving for the safety of our group and considering how many riders that were already surrounding the guy. So 2 of the 5 riders I was leading are medical professionals and I'm sure could only help in a positive way but with the amount of people there it deterred me from stopping our group to help. I really hope people realize that not pulling over to watch a guy bleed gives room for first responders to really lend assistance. I just saw in the local news that the guy died and now I wonder if had we stopped could we have helped save his life.

  13. So you wanna watch out for the signs and sometimes they have words on them they tell you what you’re supposed to do did you get hit in the head your commentary is remedial

  14. Everyone turned the corner on the motorcycles and no one crashed but we are going to address the dangerous condition of the guy in the yellow jacket with diabetes

  15. Soon as you get those trauma kits in I would like to order one. I'm not a paramedic but I have enough skills to use one. I bet you thought l was going to say I'm not a paramedic but I play one on tv!

  16. Just had a crash not long ago in Minneapolis, MN, where a car got onto the freeway and crossed over 3 lanes all in one shot, smacking into a rider, and killing him.

  17. Just a heads up for the riders out there I have seen alot of videos of people not passing a semi untill traffic is clear and they can zip by it. While I appreciate this and think all traffic should try not to hang out next to us you will see us coming into your lane. You won't get any warning if the trailer tire blows out and they blow out alot more the hotter it gets. I have seen chunks of tires break windows and put dents in cars and I dont want to see what it would do to you. I would not hang out near the trailer tires very long at all.

  18. Why do speeding riders blame others when they pull out on them. Speed limits are set to slow the traffic so that road users have time to pull out of side roads or see other vehicles coming. If you speed on the road, you have no right to yell at others when things go wrong.

  19. The "merging onto interstate" is near the Pentagon in Arlington VA. That merge sucks and is very poorly designed. Almost everyone merging onto 395 wants to get over 2-3 lanes to continue on 395 S, or go all the way over to Crystal City. Many people on 395 want to get off to the right so it causes a lot of crossing traffic with lane changes.

  20. Thank you Dan for these videos – they are sometimes hard to watch but I am determined to not be one of the people standing around if there is an accident. Already got my medical kit (in the UK – yours looks a lot better), have already done one general first aid course and am booked into the next available motorcycle accident first aid course here in London. Keep it up man, you are saving lives with this.
