My biggest problem is that HL got hella downplayed. He saved Butcher from c4 bomb THAT WAS STRAPPED TO HIS CHEST, and an infant from the explosion. Whole while I was wondering why tf he was even letting them get close to him
If billy had used laser on homelander while they were holding him down, they might have been successful
What would have been the perfect start of butcher vs homelander would be butcher slowly walking upto homelander, tapping his shoulder, remembering all his pain and suffering, loosing his wife, etc and as homelander turns, punch him with all that anger. Then homelanders 1st surprised reaction, then next surprise when he finds butcher has laser too.

Now, I realize Soldier Boy is the one who is gonna take the big shot against HL but, I can't help but feel that if he had been holding him down with more effort they might have got him.
I realize that would not make for an interesting story but it's those little things you think about on the umpteenth rewatch. Lol
I could see Karl Urban as Constantine, although maybe he is a bit too old.

I sort of like how pathetic Butcher looks when he is walking towards Homelander. Just the fact that he thinks he is so cool really shows how far he has fallen in this series, being drunk on his own power and going against his ideals
