  1. That "The Secret Life of Chimps (2009)" part (7:45 to 10:20) was so cringe and disgusting… Like let's all just pretend the crew being mere metres to literal centimetres away from the chimps isn't completely altering their behaviour… Can just tell those african guides would have been armed, with the ditsy jungle safari jane wannabe pushing to get so close, endangering the lives of those chimps all for the sake of fame & fortune…. Putrid.

  2. It amazes me that chimps are so hostile to other groups coming near their territory, yet they seem quite happy to accept the human camera crew literally in amongst them. Given that we're so closely related to chimps, you'd think they'd see us in the same way. I'm also facinated that they're not more interested in us, they seem almost indifferent to our presence. Maybe these specific chimps have learned that our camera crews aren't a threat to them, but who were the people who got them to learn that, and did they live to tell the tale? 😮
