That baby needed rescue. More often than not folks kidnap healthy fawns found alone, but when the ear tips curl back like they have on that little one…then mom has been gone for awhile. It needs help from a wildlife rehabilitator.

The moment you touched him, is the moment when you condemned him to live without his Mother. She might be somewhere near, or she get for food. YOU CANNOT TOUCH THIS LITTLE CREATURES, otherwise you doom him to death. In nature they are smelless.
And for God sake DO NOT GIVE HIM A COW MILK! ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ it could kill him!
Perhaps his mother abandoned him because she found him "defective", those spots appear to be "albinic mosaicism". It would seem cruel, but that's how it is in nature, my cat once ate one of her three newborn cats (he was an obitus) but I didn't judge her, her instinct told her that those proteins would be good to produce milk.
