Anytime you have a conversation about guns in this country, this question will inevitably come up.

Why Does Anyone “NEED” an AR-15?

Most people who ask this question are asking this question to truly understand.

However, everyone else who asks this question is doing so from a place of deceit because they know the second amendment is part of the bill of rights and not the bill of needs, so they know there isn’t a NEED requirement for which guns you can own under the SECOND AMENDMENT.

That said, this question comes up pretty often so for the people who genuinely want to know why you NEED an AR15 I’m going to give you the Top 5 reasons.

However, as important as the type of gun is when it comes to self-defense, it’s also about the training and ensuring you’re prepared.

That’s why I’m a USCCA member.

It’s an easy way to cover all my bases if I ever had to use my gun in self-defense.

I could find myself in a costly legal case to prove that using my gun was justified.

The beautiful thing about a USCCA membership is that you don’t just get self-defense insurance; you also get access to their treasure trove of education and training programs.

If the enemies of our country became capable, join forces and decide to invade with a bunch of AKs (because that's the most common rifle outside the US) Why should US citizens be denied the opportunity to defend themselves, their family and friends, property and the country with a weapon system that out performs what the enemy has?

The only thing an AK does better than an AR is hit harder and that's only by about 150 ft/lbs

  2. Precise and appreciate the clips for factual purposes. Civil unrest will become more frequent especially as inflation and food/supply shortages continue. Police and all of the letter agency officials will never have the capacity to protect everyone. Protect yourself people.

  3. I just got in a discussion about this topic with my idiot brother. “No one should have a weapon of war” my response is ok but the constitution says I can have a AR-15 and it’s a right. Than the conversation devolved into healthcare should be a right argument. I just stopped talking since my brother just has the standard left wing talking points.

  4. 2:45 they legit called a hi-point carbine an "assault rifle". That's one of the very few rifles you could ever own that is BELOW military grade. Couldn't help but laugh.

  5. I undestand why you choosed this question,as it's the new anti-gun mojo but i cannot stop smiling while you answered… In most of the case you talked about, AR-15 is not the best platform for the job, not even close to it in some case… I know many people in this country love their AR. and it's theyr right to do so. But with a little more realism, for most people, in most common situation where you need to defend yourself, AR 15 re not realy the best choice… AR 15 are a marvelous weapon of war, and they shine on the battlefields. But they are not optimal in many situation. Not all situation require a long mid range gun in .556. and yes you can chamber your AR in many other caliber, even .22 long rifle but that's not the point. With the over penetration problem and it's sheer size , an AR is not optimal in a cramped environment with civilian around… you'd be beter with a handgun caliber submachine gun… Even a shotgun can have the upper hand, less risk of over penetration , and for most user , easy to hit at less than 30 feet… Even handgun in close quarter can be better…
I think they chosed the AR as a target n not because they just want to ban this platform , but because it represent Military and war, it's like a symbol of how overpowered they see some guns… But as a mater of fact, if you dont plan to fight against multiple human target , in an open space , without any civilian around… AR 15 might not be your best choice… Not that you should not posses one or 20, but they may not be your best shot for the job…

  6. Don't forget to stockpile ammo and a lot of it do not store it all in one place I have my ammo and weapons stored in several different places you may not be where you need to be if you need a weapon if they are at one location

  7. I want to buy an AR for my home defense gun mainly because of the increasing presence of body armor. A pistol or a shotgun won’t do crap to a vest but a .223 will go through it like paper (especially green tips). After watching this video I now have even more reasons to buy one for home defense. Thank you! 🇺🇸

  8. Well, 6th reason for sure: if you are angry at people who don't share your values, you need an AR, because it is the obvious first choice if with your own hands you want to kill a bunch quickly.

  9. Even if you don't trust the government, you cannot beat the Government with AR-15's our military is way more equipped. Stop it Colin

  10. How about listing the constitutional command to own a rifle equal to, or superior to that of a standing army? Can't do that because then how would all the pretend pro-2nd people and groups scam people out of money for memberships and contributions fighting with the wrong legal arguments???

The Founders placed the 2nd in the Bill of Rights in order that they would maintain the militia.

The constitutional requirements to own an AR-15 specifically written into the Constitution.

    1. "to execute the Laws of the Union"

    2. "suppress Insurrections"

    3. "repel Invasions"

    One hundred Ninety years ago Justice Joseph Story wrote in his commentaries on the Constitution;

"The right of the citizens to keep and bear arms has justly been considered, as the palladium of the liberties of a republic; since it offers a strong moral check against the usurpations and arbitrary power of rulers…And yet, though this truth would seem so clear…among the American people, there is a growing indifference to any system of militia discipline, and a strong disposition, from a sense of its burdens, to be rid of all regulations. How it is practicable to keep the people duly armed without some organization it is difficult to see. There is certainly no small danger that indifference may lead to disgust, and disgust to contempt; and thus gradually undermine all the protection intended by this clause of our national bill of rights.”

Before someone comments with we are all the militia, think about how foolish a notion that is when you have no organization, no supply chain, and no lawful authority. Add that to the fact that in a sudden invasion, how many people will be killed for lack of organization, training, and skill set.

  11. Keep in mind if you must discharge your firearm, you need medical/mental aid immediately. You are not in the state of mind to answer lawful probes. Anything you say can and will be used against you. The government and laws are not in your favor, despite how much you spent on them.

  12. Don't trust the government period. Own whatever weapons you choose. Regardless of the laws. The 2nd amendment didn't describe what type of arms. It simply says the right to bear arms.

  13. Very well presented. Some Democrat leaning people may ask why "why do Americans need AR15's" and I think answering the question from the individual perspective (why you need an AR15) is a better approach. One might prefer that nobody has an AR15 (I respect that sentiment), but we all need to understand the reality that these guns are already out there in huge numbers in the US, and it's going to be the bad guys that give them up last.

As you've indicated, it's more practical for you to be responsible for your own protection than to rely on police.

  14. This is the same argument that USSR and USA made for decades during the cold war. Both sides just kept escalating the ability to kill each other until we got to the point of planetary anhelation.

Humans are idiots. Serious idiots. We live in a world where we can send space probes outside the solar system, yet we 'need' AR15's just to stay alive? Whatever. Idiots. This is a pretty good example that humans have VERY little capacity to learn.
