Sometimes, a decisive and super-fast move is needed, but we do whatever it takes to save them! Katie McKittrick knew that she may pay in blood for this, but she was not leaving anyone behind!
It’s the baby season in the animal kingdom, and we need your help so we can save many more animals off the streets before they become feral, and before they start producing more and more and more kittens. If you can, please join us today with a small donation here: https://www.HopeForPaws.org – A $5 monthly donation will ensure we can continue saving lives month after month, and together we can create many more happy endings.

  1. In 2019 helped a friend to give a ride to people from a church in the middle of a suburban area. A lady carried a small kitty, crossed the street and left it abandoned as if it was a bag of garbage. My blood started to boil and I went off the car and picked it and put it in a supermarket bag made of fabric. I went to nag the lady and she felt entitled to do what she did, no remorse. I brought the kitty home.
If the kitty remained there there was no food, no water, and big dogs in the houses nearby. And about 1 block away a mains street where it could be run over. It would not have lasted for too long.

At home, since it wanted to walk on top of everything we had to let it be in the room of the washing machine at night. It was a free spirit who wanted to explore the world. It escaped one day but next day we found it. Then it escaped again and spent like a month lost until I finally found it after I organized my neighbors. It was weak, but had no disease or wounds.
It learned that home was not a prison, it was an oasis. There was nothing out there but fear, loneliness and hunger. At home there is food, shelter and love.

It is 3 years old now.

  3. I know it must be difficult to rescue kittens, but snatching them hella hard while they scream is unnerving. Have you tried catching them using kittie food? πŸ™

  4. Once I’m older it’s my dream to rescue and save animals like you guys where is a good place to start?

  5. I live in a rural area. It is not uncommon for people to dump unwanted cats on my property. I don't keep cats in my house. So if they stick around, I take them to the local vet and have them neutered. The help keep the mice and rats population down.

  6. You guys are doing the best thing that you could do because I don’t like it when I see kittens stuck in a Sewer and I’m really thankful for you helping them

  7. Mama Coco did such a good job with her babies! She’s so sweet with people that I wonder if she wasn’t dumped because she pregnant. I wish them all wonderful homes.

  8. The house they came from sure liked nice but I guess the owners did not care about the cat and her kittens so they were removed. They all look healthy and have good diagnoses. After having our spayed cat "Tabbytha," who lost all her kittens from adoption and was by herself in a kennel before we took her home, I wonder about the trauma she had from it. She was fairly standoffish until this past few weeks after being with us for nearly two years. I know it would be difficult to have an entire litter of kittens though the psychological impact might be pretty great losing the kittens suddenly. I hope all these fur babies enjoy their lives, and God Bless you all for caring for them. Two of our cats are grey tabbies too!

  10. My cat always freaks out when she hears the kitten cry out. She runs over to me, trying to find the kitties to protect them.
