Tiny Baby Deer Asks People to Rescue Her | The Dodo Wild Hearts
Spread The Viralist

A tiny baby deer walked right up to people, crying for help. When it became clear that she lost her mom, they brought her to Woodlands Wildlife Sanctuary in Ontario. Watch her grow up and run back to the wild with her best friend!

Woodlands Wildlife Sanctuary is a volunteer-based charity and is not government funded, they rely on donations from the public to help wildlife in need. You can support them here: thedo.do/woodlands.

  1. it is very common for a newborn baby deer to follow you if you come across it, Do NOT make noises or ask it to follow you or it will get itself lost from its mother, the mother leaves it to go forage and if you let it follow you it will get lost from its mother. if you come across a baby deer in the wild and it follows you, place the deer facing the opposite direction you plan to go and leave so it cannot watch. do not take the deer or let it follow you, if you raise it yourself you are just kidnapping the deer and releasing it back as an adult without it's proper development. Do not take these deer unless you are a trained nature professional

  2. Humans shouldn't intervene with nature and just let run it's course… Then again.. If this were a human baby there is zero doubt in my mind anyone would leave it abandoned.

  3. When you encounter a hidden fawn, make sure you listen carefully for signs there is a deer returning while you are taking pictures or videoing.

  4. By 2040 people will be domestication fawns…. F#%&!@× up their homes… But it'll be back to Forest you go eventually, at least while they still exist.

  5. I adored my daddy … but he did one thing I hated … he’d go deer hunting with his brothers every season! I just couldn’t understand how that gentle soul I loved so much, could kill one of these beautiful creatures! I know they hunt the big bucks, but they started off like this and it still breaks my heart!😽💔

  6. If there's a wildlife sanctuary in your area, you can always call them and ask if you can help feed the fawns, and maybe give a small donation. Believe me, bottle feeding the fawns will spark some happiness in you.
