He was ok till the military found out.
It's a miracle the Pilot walked out unharmed.
The Cobra doesn't have enough power to do any near ground maneuvers at all.
Ran out of pitch, power and experience all at the same time.
Far too many heli pilots down here. Do this, do that, turn this, go up this. Not everything you seeing movies is real people. You all have no idea how to fly the thing, let alone the how extremely hard it is,- take off, cruising, to landings. If fixed-wing pilots are hardcore, heli pilots are adamantium mixed with barbranium core.
Aaaaand today on Topu Giru
literally crashed 3-4 car lengths from those people.
crazy nobody died.
S model Cobra
Army
Ooh
He got that Kobe Form
The pilot cannot still be a live after that crash
I moustache you to explain all of the references to moustaches?
Just thought I'd chime in…
(101st Airborne, Cobra crew chief who learned to fly )
Non rigid rotor systems, the entirety of the airframe is just like a weight on a string.
You basically fly the rotors in a way that suspends the weight.
…
The aircraft lost the ability to hold itself up… it kinda slid off the lift of the rotors.
..
Remember that trick to swing a bucket of water… and what happens if you don't maintain enough G force.
The 3D arc of flight… isn't natural.
ALSO
>> if no mechanical issues was found. It was most likely pilot error.
I think they blew the budget on that one…
Its when guys get to old to be hot-dog pilots anymore.
Good action.
Nice move, Captain Hotdog. 100% preventable. As a former Cobra pilot, this pains me.
This is the greatest plaaaaaaan
That was a cobra attack chopper. The first purpose built attack helicopter made I believe. Came out in late 60's in time for Vietnam. Great chopper. This one is much more recent though.
Since when was there a top gear korea lmaoooo

100% pilot error. How much is a helicopter like that? 3 million? 10 million?
