About:
Young Justice is an American superhero animated television series developed by Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman for Cartoon Network. 1. 5 vs 5 since Zod and his wife didn't fight.
I can see Zatanna and Rocket losing in hand-to-hand combat, since they don't really have training.
You could argue that Zatanna shouldn't have lost because the Kryptonians don't have their powers, but it looks like Kaldur's advice came in too late and she was taken out before she could use her magic again.
Kaldur and Artemis are both skilled martial artists, but I wouldn't classify them as top tier. They're nowhere near Deathstroke/Lady Shiva level. Zod's soldiers are much older and probably had more years of experience. Zod's soldiers were also highly motivated to win to escape. Idk, could go either way depending on the argument presented, but I'll accept the loss as reasonable.
Now Nightwing on the other hand, shouldn't have lost against these guys in hand-to-hand combat. Could inexperience in the zone really play that much of a factor in the fight?
I understand the team losing, but they shouldn't have gotten their butts handed to them that easily.

  2. "Zatanna use your magic directly on our opponents; the rest of you remember your training. Hand to hand combat only" I …….. love Kaldur giving commands but because everyone is elevated now it doesn't feel like "the team"…. these guys are leaguers now 🥲

they still got their butts handed to them but it was nice seeing them coordinate again

  3. So, most stories I've read has said that Zod's family have served their sentences too long. Most reason is because no one could get them out after krypton exploded. I know who they are, but I'm kinda on the side of letting them go.

  4. The smarter option might have been to give Zod what he wanted. Earth courts would have no right to judge Kryptonian sentences that have already been served overtime. And if Zod did become a threat, the League would have a better chance of dealing with the Kryptonians on Earth than in the Phantom Zone, where Zod has the home advantage. The team just turned a potential enemy into a decided one.

  5. The phantom zone was Kryptons greatest mind fuck for criminals to basically go insane and to be incarcerated Conner was there for months and since he is a clone it only makes sense he forget his memories and his original weapon programming kick in

  6. I know Zod was a bad guy, but I think they could of talked to Zod more about letting him out peacefully. I mean if they make Zod promise to work with them and not cause chaos, I think he would upheld his promise, at least for a while.

  7. as a show of good faith? i would have say "you're the criminals ones here, it's rather us that should ask for a show of good faith. "

  8. I understand that Zod is technically right, but their attack on the team was a dumb and inappropriate move for their case lol. Definitely let them know that they were not worth releasing

  9. Bro this kinda shit makes me hate people like Zatana. She has all those wicked magic powers but couldn't think of any wide spread shit? Like idk, a blindness curse?

  10. Sneaking into an interdimensional prison meant for notorious kryptonian war criminals without considerable backup… a cunning strategy!!! Wait, not cunning… what's the opposite of that?..

  11. Can't believe I'm saying this, Zod was 100% right here. They've more than done their time. The team has every reason to fear their potential power but they should've been released.

  12. 2:41
Me: Even IF we release you and your sinister kin, you would pull that trickery stunt again, and again, and again, and AGAIN until the line has been crossed.

  13. Easy solution:

Have one of the team volunteer to stay in the zone while they bring SB and Zod outside on the pretense that they will arrange a trial.
That way they have a little bit of leeway while they arrange the litigation for Kryptonian law.

  14. I just realized if zod hadn't attacked them they would have actually freed him. In fact we already know they did in the future.

  15. Technically,Zod’s not wrong. They’ve served their full sentences and have to be released. They can’t just leave them there forever since they haven’t done anything except what they got their punishment for

  16. Okay how stupid can the team be you already saw rockets power doesnt work cause your phantoms and can walk threw anything, but then they try to throw a rock and again it doesn't work it went threw them, but then Artemis shoots arrows….. AGAIN DOESNT WORK IT GOES THREW THEM

  17. zod is kinda right here. they did serve their time they should be released by law. that they didnt agree to the release in good faith is kinda hypocritic. they fight for law and justice and those kryptonians should be released by the justice system that put them there by law in the first place. so zod wanting freedom is totaly justified.

  18. I have to shake my head at how fast Superboys mind just stopped messing with reality and started listening to zod. Like how does your mind have no endurance after all that mind play with Megan.
