0:08 – Just a month ago there was a terrible flood in the South African province of KwaZulu Natal. And then a powerful storm brought a new devastating flood. Heavy downpours and raging water currents caused soil erosion. In the coastal town of Umdloti, landslides almost completely destroyed a residential complex. Across the province, bridges and roads were also washed away and destroyed. Power lines were put out of action, water supply was cut off, the work of one of the busiest ports in Africa was disrupted. More than 8,000 people were left homeless, according to local authorities. In total, the disaster affected about 20,000 people.
The damage caused by the rampant elements is estimated at 10 billion rand (630 million US dollars).

I cannot tell People enough that these weather events are going to get way worse and coming to a city near you. Theres no escape. If your dealing with droughts… you will get flooding rains in the years to come and vise versa… Exspect all kinds of weather you coukd imagine seeing where you live and you would be mentally prepared at least.

translation error : cyclone ; name given to hurricanes in the Pacific and Indian Oceans, the term is also used for tornadoes, it is an older term that fell out of favour in the 1950's as Tornado was the accepted term for that particular weather event. it was because of the confusion, they quit calling tornadoes cyclones.
