6. I have only had one cate that would tolerate getting a bath. He was a male alley cat that was hanging around a house that my Mom and I rented. We domesticated him and he ended up being the coolest cat. He loved getting a bath. Other subsequent cats I have owned have been much less able to tolerate taking a bath. I think each cat is different.

21. Cats can clean themselves decently but sometimes you need water to help them. I like to use a small damp towel and use two fingers to simulate a cat tongue. It helps a lot when it comes to cleaning and easing them. Mimicking animal behaviors will help with talking to them and understanding what they want/need.

22. My family had a cat like this when I was a kid. We regularly had to share the tub with him. He would even come swimming with us in the river. He was a better swimmer than the dog!
