Wonderful movie. Anna Chlumsky was terrific as Vada. I loved the 1970's background music, cars and the setting in sunny LA. It brought back many memories of my own past. This was a touching story as Vada learns about her deceased mom that she never knew. This experience changed her forever. I hope you also enjoy this story.

There was going to be a third film with Anna Chlumsky and Dan Aykroyd both returning, but in 2012 Chlumsky said it wouldn't happen. Even though she's 41 years old now, we could have seen something like her sixteen year old daughter getting casted along with the new characters for the newer generation. Throw in some Tiktok and duck-face selfies, there could have been a reboot.

My girl 2 is just as good as part 1 only sad because of Thomas J. not there since he passed away if he survived imagine they still be best friends or maybe together however am happy Vada wants to know more about her mom she has that right to know more to discover this was a great adventure for Vada and definitely also to hangout with uncle Phil and newcomer Nick.
