On my channel I have covered many different strange and creepy videos, everything from a strange video that turned out to be an art to “The String” or . search on youtube which brought up some truly rather gore filled videos. However, there are always more disturbing, creepy, and just plain strange videos on youtube so I decided to compile a list of the most disturbing and make it into an iceberg. This iceberg covers everything from the more lighthearted don’t hug me I’m scared, Salad Fingers, and elsa gate, to truly disturbing parts of youtube’s history like plasmamasterdon, Mranime, and fake animal rescues. I hope you guys enjoy the disturbing youtube iceberg.

For Elsagate, Tim Pool talks about these videos. It’s like computer generated/AI that make videos based off of the most popular searches at the time and what would get the most clicks and views. So it ended up becoming this gross mishmash of disturbing and child focused content in an attempt to get the most views possible to gain revenue because kids on their mom’s iPad just mindless click the next Elsa video and they don’t understand what they’re watching.

I got on youtube on a private unlogged in browser yesterday and found 3 elsa gate videos on the first page of recommendations… I think youtube is promoting this content to make sweet ad revenue.
Correction: Unlisted videos can also be accessed if the channel added them to a playlist. That way is famous to leak some footage that was not supposed to be seen

I did an entire video on Indrid Cold aka the Grinning Man or the Smiling Man! There have been several sightings of these "Grinning Men" throughout time and a lot of people have connected sightings of them to upticks of UFO occurrences.
I got to operate the Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared installation at SXSW a few years ago! They also had a marcel the shel install. Fun times.
Burden is another great addition to this, although more along the lines of social commentary portrayed in a somewhat disturbing manner.
