1. You should travel by van or train or cruise ship. Not airplane.

2. The KLM pilot wanted it all his way. While there were several factors, had he not been so in a hurry and full of conceit, the crash would never have happened.

6. Since 1998, I have chosen to drive wherever I go, that way, I'm the one responsible for my own destiny. Airlines do not give a $h!+ about the passengers, only how many they can cram on board and make a profit. Aircraft end up getting many, many takeoff/landing cycles and operating hours racked up, a recipe for disaster.
   I'll pass on flying, thank you. Flying itself does not bother me, it's the airlines and their attendant BS that does.

21. I flew once when I was 13. That was 1978. I was scared senseless. Since then I've always said that God gave me lungs so I can hold my breath and swim, but he did NOT give me wings to fly.

22. A series of bad decisions and bad luck, if just one thing didn’t happened, it probably wouldn’t have occurred, like say the fog or the terrorist attack. Well it’s 2022 now.

24. how aBout limit what planes can land at certain runways… Tenariff is not a appropriate runway for a 747 or anything larger then a DC 3

25. 2017 a Canadian 767, flying at night almost landed on top of 5 jetliners waiting to take off at San Francisco Int. Canadian pilot thought passenger plane lights were runway lights. Pulled up missing lead jetliner by 300 ft. All that Dutch Kamikaze pilot cared about was STUPID K.L.M. overtime regulations. 583 dead. It is already known Kapitan Jacob Van Zanten could not wait 3-5 minutes in fog. Arrogant impatient, drunk pilot.

26. Profits before people is the main problem with this and other industries. Until people start valuing other people more than money, these totally preventable collisions will continue, which is one of the many reasons why I no longer fly.

27. California taxes it’s citizens so much their airports should be brand new once a year 😂😂

    I will take a train or fly myself in my little Cirrus.
