Love the guy filming running aground @ 4:00. Film yourself shredding the bottom up good job on filming your stupidity your mother must be proud. See this on a daily basis in fl keys. Do the old you cant park there joke when they get stuck. Try doing this with 6' draft, I never got stuck because I read the chart, most say depth at low tide. Glad the motor fell off because they obviously were hitting the bottom hard. All I'm saying is there should be a test to operate a boat on the ocean.
2:55 He should have let off the throttle & turned off the engine. Once the prop hits the water it sucks the transom deeper into the water. The more throttle you give it with the props in the water the more it sucks you under. If he would have not given it throttle and turned it off at the first sign of the props hitting the water the transom would have popped back out of the water. Unfortunately, most airboat owners are cocky and don't take the air-driven vessel's safety and prevention. The DFW officers courses in safety and also teach search & rescue courses for civilian volunteers.
Oh, man, that's some expensive daydreaming when you forget to ask them to open the bridge!
