3. Iroh is such a nice guy that you don't even realise that he is one of the most dangerous opponents you could face in the world of Avatar. He just chooses not to use his powers unless absolutely necessary which is very honourable.

   I mean a lot could do it (probably most of the White Lotus) but he is the only one who actually did it

21. I love how his character was written.
    Follows the origins of the definition of "meek": Strength under control.

    He is secure in his power, and applies only what he needs to get the job done.

    Its the small touches that made this show cinematically wonderful.

    What you think is a personality quirk turns into "hiding in plain sight". Both the fire benders from the white lotus had to act "crazy" to not be suspected as they kept the original fire nation spirit alive during it's century long tyrannical rule.

    And during the liberation of Ba Sing Se, with the comet overhead, he starts with the first form, breathing, as if to test his new limits and prepare himself before taking on this monumental task.

    Such a well written, directed, researched, animated and VA'd show.

23. I honestly think iroh could defeat sozin, but since this is avatar, the spot light is for aang.

24. Who would win? An entire fire nation army with hundreds of firebanders empowered by sozins comet and dozens of tanks and other war machinery inside one of the most heavily fortified cities in the world – OR – five old men?

25. Mako was the perfect Iroh, may he be at peace.

26. Yea, the last bit with Sozin's Comet, Iroh and Jeong Jeong were ridiculously powerful, but let us not forget just how stupidly powerful Bumi is as well. Not bad for man past 110 years old.
