Municipal Corporations are now better equipped to provide a more coordinated response in the event of a natural disaster.
The Ministry of Rural Development and Local Government’s Disaster Management Unit launched its Municipal Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) today at the Ministry’s Head Office.
The Centre serves as a Central Command for logistics, planning, operations and training.
