  1. A reminder that the ocean is beautiful and yet terrifying. A massive shout out to all lifeguards and those who help them in these critical situations. (Please note – some of these situations depict CPR methods that are over 10 years old, check in with your local first aid training centre on the latest resuscitation methods).

  2. Guys, you need to measure an airway before you insert it. You can't shove it into a patient's mouth without making sure it's the correct size. You also need to measure a collar before you put it around someone's neck. The wrong size can do more harm than good.
Have you ever thought of getting a few more defibs and keeping them in the buggies? Running to and from the tower wastes valuable time. Tell your Council they need to pop for more resus equipment.

  3. That girl in the first video made me a bit nervous because she was practically dead but them bringing her back to life was amazing great jobs 👍👍

  4. "You're alright. You're on Bondi Beach" when they were resuscitating the woman- those words were really impactful. I've never watched such organized lifeguards. I've never watched such a respectable crowd. I didn't see any camera phones or men trying to peek disrespectfully. The lifeguards were driven to save the woman and everyone watched with so much concern and hope. Hopefully I'll never drown in a beach again, but I would hope that if I do, it's on Bondi Beach.

  5. Slooooooooooow down on the compressions! I appreciate the adrenaline rush, but HOLY fast compressions! Sing Row, Row, Row your boat…. And you will be on track. You guys are awesome and so grateful that your entire job is to save lives and help people❤️🇨🇦

  6. I wish the other people at the beach would stop staring and give these unconscious, exposed people some comfort? Imagine waking up half naked, almost died, and there’s a crowd of people with their phones out and just staring at you

  7. May I ask why they drain him on his back and not on his side? Wouldn’t gravity help it come out faster? (I’m genuinely curious)

  8. To those talking about her bra: .. her bra full of salt water which is wet for good conduct electricity. This wet bra leak salt water which create short bridge path for electric pass through that wont help electricity go through the heart. That is why they wipe off salt water outside skin, so electricity move effectively through her heart.

Or continue water leak out which loose the pad stick to skin.

  9. I don’t see anything wrong with onlookers as long as they don’t get in their way. It’s amazing to watch these heroes do their jobs and you never know who you can inspire too go into the medical field or this job to try and save people. My son watched paramedics with my daughter when she was in a bad car accident and he became a paramedic because of it

  10. I don’t mean to be critical because you guys save lives. I have much respect. I’m a volunteer EMT. I will say I’d suggest doing CPR at 100bpm. Whoever was working on that student in the end could have done faster reps. But who am I to talk considering you guys brought him back which is amazing! I’m used to the unsuccessful stories of CPR as a lot of my patients are old with many health problems.

  11. Guys, in some episodes like this the guard in the tower needs to run the defib but can’t because of the rule they need to man it. So they ask the public? Why don’t the film crew just run down with it. Or do they care more about filming the documentary then saving the live of a stranger??? It’s pathetic how they couldn’t make the camera man run it down instead of filming! They care more about the documentary!

  12. They NEED to clear bystanders from the scene. All the kids just watching a possible death while a women is exposed is unacceptable. My department would never allow it
