It doesn’t matter how much experience you have – a bite is always painful and I always ask my team to do whatever they need to do to avoid it as it can affect their ability to go on the next rescue.
JoAnn Wiltz and Alex Babcock headed out to rescue Kyle, and I am really happy they didn’t get injured after he got away three times! Luckily, Alex managed to get him as he was making a run for it 😎👍
Kyle suffered from Plasma Cell Pododermatitis (“Pillow foot”), and he is now feeling much better.
It is kitten season out there, and it’s raining kittens over here. We just had to buy so much kitten formula, hospitalize a few sick kittens, and this will keep happening for the next two months (at least)!

Sometimes the saltiest Tom cats turn out to be giant cinnamon rolls of love. I've had a couple of those guys in my life. Kyle looks like he's going to make some family very happy one day. What a beautiful boy! 🖤🖤🖤

Well. Perhaps you might want to educate your caregivers on how to pick up a cat. I have never seen such an incompetent example of trapping a semi feral cat. This is one of your worst shots. Own up to it like an adult.Apologize to the cat. You put it through much unneeded stress, by that first inept pick up. dislike video.
When you are trying to blanket a cat, it is best to also cover the head right at the start. Cats tend to be less aggressive and reduces fear response if they are completely covered. Thank you for helping him <3

She needs more skills to get hold of the cat,
why not having a cage or transport box ready right after grabbing the cat? Just grab the cat and put it instantly in the box. That is how I catched my stray back then and I could not even pet her back then! I just grabbed her neck while she was eating and the box was already right next to me. You were lucky this cat couldn’t run away (probably running over a street) or hiding somewhere nobody could ever catch him anymore. After 2 attempts to catch him he was now very alerted; I only recommend to have the box already right next to you. But thank you for saving him. He doesn’t look very feral.
