  1. The Secret is a treasure hunt started by Byron Preiss in 1982. Twelve treasure boxes were buried at secret locations across North America. As of August 2020 only three of the twelve boxes have been found.

Each of the twelve boxes contains a casque which holds a key. Once retrieved the keys can be exchanged for a valuable stone. Collectively the stones are said to be worth approximately ten thousand dollars.
    The Clues

Inside the book there are twelve cryptic images and twelve verses as seen below in the order they appear in the book.
    The Treasure

For each cask retrieved the finder is rewarded a valuable gem or stone in exchange for the key found. The book explains the following for the value of the treasures as well as some rules around the treasure hunt:

“The jewels collectively are worth over ten thousand dollars. The treasure casques themselves are of incalculable value, never having been owned by man or woman.”

“Every treasure casque is buried underground, at a depth of no more than three to three and one-half feet. The casques are protected by lustrous transparent boxes, and are sealed.”

“The following places do not hold any treasure:

    – any life-threatening location, such as a dangerous highway embankment, a contaminated area or active railway track

    – any cemetery

    – any public or private flower bed

    – any property owned by the contributors to the book, their families or friends.”

  2. There is a cache of gold in the Kiamichi mountains. An old man who didn't trust banks kept it buried in a cave near the cabin he lived in. However the Kiamichi mountains are littered with caves and it will be a long time for anyone to find it.

  3. I find the content of the programs very interesting, but the background music is extremely repetitive, distracting and just irritating… After a while I struggle to concentrate on listening to the narrative

  4. Nobody has found it or nobody has reported finding the treasure, not many people want to pay taxes or the publicity that would come from finding and reporting the treasure.

  5. I love watching animal stuff! I can't imagine living around so many poisonous creatures. Where I live we have one poisonous snake, and I've Never seen one.

  6. Correction with the golden owl it is known where it is by 1 person but that's because they replaced the owl with a replica and put the original into a vault to prevent it from coroding

  7. Greetings from Poland! Speaking of werewolves… My rabbit acts strange during the full moon. Together with my wife we make a joke that she (rabbit is called Edzia) is reallyna wererabbit 😀

  8. Wouldn't you think that regardless of how much carbon dioxide there is, as long as it's venting continually and the oxygen level isn't affected that the wildlife in the ecosysystem wouldn't necessarily be affected that much.(I don't know!)

  9. Divers with knife does look kinda like a hoax because it looks like they're actually standing in the snow and all the rest looks kinda photo-shopped!

  10. Several people died looking for the treasure. But it has been confirmed it was found. Person wants to stay anonymous. And is still so. The Yellow Diamond has most likely been cut several times so it won't be seen again.
