  1. there is still one more chapter, a special, after L's death, and one thing more, a one shot, this is manga, just one chapter, after this end of what comes next, i recomend to read and watch those two things

  2. Someone told me a long time ago that Light actually won by using a piece of the notebook at the last minute. I watched the last episode here thinking that Light was going to pull out of this. I was watching, waiting when he was going to win but it never happened! I was hopeful even after he pulled the piece of paper out of his watch, but he lost! That was agony! I watched through the end still thinking it's going to happen. Why do people say bullshit like that get my hopes up?!

  3. For anyone who wants to read this, Light doesn't fully lose. He does become a god to the people even after his death. The world isn't fixed just within days or even years. Death notes will still fall on this world as the next one shot manga showed. Finally if anyone has watched the relight movies knows the shinigami that shows up to talk with ryuk looks a lot like light, although it's debatable whether it is light or not , many hints are given that it might just be , which again would be very fitting for his character.
    Also side note:
I kinda liked the live action (Japanese) movie ending where L actually beat light. Although not without consequences.

PS: for fuck's sake stop comparing him with floch or eren, they are fighting for their survival against the entire world, and light with his god complex intentionally tried to become one.

  4. Matsuda killed 2 people before shooting Light, and in both instances was to protect Light's father. Matsuda shot Light because of betraying his father. Him and Chief Yagami had a father/son type of relationship, there's even a scene where Matsuda accidentally calls him "Dad".

  5. Light won in every possible way in all scenarios if the story would've continued in its natural way, but they pulled so many bullshits just to kill light to make your criminal minds feel good, it's comical. And let's not forget how you loved how he killed in the first episode just because it was a girl like you about to get raped, but then u turned around and backpedaled so hard. Gimme a break, bunch of hypocrites

  6. After reading other comments I kinda agree with their suggestion of reacting to Monster. Monster is deep and have dark theme. Although I still wish someday they'll react to Code Geass.

  7. The ending on the manga/comic was not like this, the creators and the director of the anime changed it, because a very High number of Light fans complained about how Light died, in his last moments Light has a Mental Brakedown and showed an extremely pathetic and ridiculous behavior, even begging for his life and calling Misa for Help.

  8. Now you girls should watch Hunter x Hunter. Hunter x Hunter have two versions 1999 and 2011 its up to you girls which version you want to see

  9. Respect light mfs, still sucks how that shitty discount L Near and the other irrelevant side characters got all L's credit, saying they surpassed him, Light and L deserved better

  10. In my opinion Misa's lack of characterization reflects one of the weakest points about Death Note, generally speaking— if you think about it, literally all the side characters are pretty one-note. The police force, Teru Mikami, Kiyomi Takada, the Yotsuba group, Weddy and Aiber, etc. It's like they are all pieces on a chess board meant to fulfill one purpose. Even L and Light have a very clear point of view and they never change from it.

That's not necessarily a huge problem, but there's only so much you can do with characters who don't grow and change. Death Note did a good job wrapping up the story quickly, because if it continued any longer this weakness would definitely be more glaring.

  11. 24:20 "Everything I ever wanted to be said to Light was said"

Actually… my first impression of this show when I finished is that they actually never really debunked Light. Near's response is just so dogmatic that I don't think it convinced anyone who was rooting for Light.
The show never really debates much the two major points of view around Kira and worst of all is that the side of "good" is never really vindicated in the consequences.
Criminality drops. Wars drop. Apparently people live in hope and fear.
I condemn Light's actions not in the sense that I think that the ends don't justify the means. I actually do believe that if Light had created a fair and efficient god to purge the world from the worst people, then the ends would have justified the means.

But the thing is that the author himself seems to think that the only problem with Light's actions is that they were killing criminals. Like… that's the problem.
Not the fact that he just doesn't have a way to know who is a real criminal or that he never uses his book to do anything but kill (and it can do a lot more, since it can control people)
It's almost as if the author internally thinks that if this events were to happen, then the world would indeed see a decrease in criminality and an end to wars. Not like… just the start of the media's tyranny. Not the start of hardcore Guerrilla warfare with covered faces. Not extreme confusion.

  12. I recommend checking out Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion! It's not exactly the same thing but I've always felt like it was pretty similar to Death Note.

  13. Please watch One piece. The right girl (don’t know the name) has that kind of intelligence that can find out what every fan wants to know: what is the one piece.

  14. people are so hypocritical, given the chance they probably would have used the book for selfish reasons, at least Light tried to create something good, and remember how he was when his mind was wiped, he was a good person and wanted to be a cop like his father. the power of the book corrupted him but he still wanted to make the world a better place, and these girls just gloat over his death? f*ck off….

  15. 日本からコメント失礼します。
    お二人のリアクション最高でした。
    次の是非BLEACH or NARUTOのリアクションが観てみたいです!
    凄く面白いので、オススメですよ!

Nice to meet you. Excuse me for commenting from Japan.
The reaction of the two was the best.
I would love to see the next reaction of BLEACH or NARUTO!
It's very interesting, so I recommend it!

  16. You all should really react to “L’s Funeral scene” !!! it was cut out of the actual anime but its such a good scene. Light visits L’s grave.

  17. just found yalls channel! loved the reaction. its hard for me to decide who is right tbh when it comes to L vs Light, L i agree with morally bc killing people is wrong (but thats just a politically correct answer when you consider the people being killed were morally incorrect as well). In the end i lean more towards light perspective, yes he killed some innocents but also stopped WARS like whole WARS & made crime drop as a whole, globally which ends up saving plenty more lives bc of his doing. really good anime & sparks good arguments tbh.
