A street dog had fallen in an open well (these wells are handmade and very common all over India especially in semi rural areas). As soon as villagers noticed she had fallen Animal Aid was called to the rescue and when we arrived we found her desperately struggling to stay on a few rocks she was able to use as a perch. It’s heart-breaking to imagine what would have happened to her without rescue.
