Drone footage recorded in the area of Bovary located northeast of Kyiv shows an NLAW initiated point blank ambush on a Russian tank unit in the middle of a road.
From the footage it seems a Ukrainian forward infantry element took position in and around the wood left west of the Russian armor column and started to engage the vehicles from close range with anti-tank weapons such as the NLAW, some RPG variants and small arms fire.
Russian forces reacted with counterfire from their tanks and infantry fighting vehicles and quickly began to disperse after the first shoots.
The ambush occured on the E95 about 10km north of Bovary and about 5km north from Skybyn, the place where Ukrainian forces recently released another drone video that showed the retreat of the 6th Russian Tank Regiment from the 90. Tank Division after accurate artillery, anti-tank and tank fire by Ukrainian troops.
It is possible that this video is from the same battle but since we can not confirm this it also can be that this is from another Russian attempt to close in on Kyiv via Bovary.

Those are people with family and friends and a life full of memories gone in an instant. It is a tragic story… may we learn that war should always be the last opinion. May the people who fought for their country rest in piece 🙏
Some say i took balls…well i say maybe. But they should engage from greater distance so they have a greater chance to survive. NLAWS have good range. Shoot – Stop the convoy, pick out a few more targets if possible and then retreat. It looks like they paid with their lives for that engagement with one tank destroyed.
And all of this havoc because of a guy with a very small reproductive organ sitting behind his walls in Moscow.

2 of 4 got out before cook off. Looked like 5-6 infantry didn't make it to cover. Prone and not moving in the open. Infantry do not stay in the open without cover because they are easy meat.
So there is a bit of small arms fire strafing the road that we can't see at this range, but at least 5 didn't get to cover.
Its definitely an NLAW. Its short range and the explosion plume is right over the top of the tank. This is how the shaped charge is designed to explode, over the weakest part of the tank, the top.

The amount of adrenaline, blood , sweat, tears, and tragic ending to many lives in one 3 minute video is astounding. Real war is absolute chaos.

A few had fallen down on the road, other's passed them by as they crawled towards the other side to escape. Had those been Marines, we would've grabbed the fallen and dragged them off the road. Pretty intense footage though.

Looks like 3 or 4 casualties in the road from the tank. One soldier makes to the other lanes of traffic and goes down, probably from small arms fire.
It’s hard to believe these soldiers took it upon themselves to go to war. It’s they’re leaders, all of our leaders that get us killed and the amazing part is you can be a citizen or a soldier but war will still have the same results.

I wish the ambush was shown to be more effective. Those tanks are probably going to end up destroying civilian structures and killing civilians in an effort to demoralize. So many war crimes.. they fight like inhuman demons wearing human skin..
