Giant Dog Who Lived In A Crate For 6 Years Freaks Out Over Her First Cheeseburger | The Dodo
Spread The Viralist

Angelica spent 6 years living in a crate next to her friend, Spud. When the two were finally rescued, they were overjoyed and so grateful for their rescuers. The two were fostered and adopted in separate places, then months later, were reunited to see how healthy and happy they had become.

  1. When I say my prayers in the morning I always pray for all animals that are being abused. I feed the cats were I live when people move they put there cat outside with the trash. It is sometimes hard to feed them and I have a cat. JESUS is there and helps we feed these cats. Please pray for animals being abused and please keep me in your prayers I am able to feed my cats outside. GOD BLESS YOU ALL

  2. I would like 10 minutes alone with the person who locked her up for 6 years. That was unspeakable cruelty.

  3. The person who took her order sounded like she had a thumb up her… McDonald's customer service should take tips from chick-fil-a

  4. 1:20 "we're getting a hamburger". Let's not forget and ignore that most ham and cheese burgers are coming from animals who are kept in crates or in crowded, closed and dirty spaces, and also the baby calves are taken from their mothers and put into crates and, most of them, slaughtered shortly after, or, sometimes, especially the males, even killed and thrown immediately. A lot of unnecessary suffering and injustice in the meat, milk and egg industry. I know it is difficult to feed dogs and cats without animal products, but that's not impossible, if one inform themselves and do the right plant based mix. And considering that there are a lot of suppliments and fortified food today to cover the nutritional necessities. That's why tere's even vegan food for dogs and cats today, and we should invest in it, not in hamburgers. Also, many cats can or should be allowed to hunt for themselves, if possible.

  5. 0:16 – I've never EVER seen a dog with such kind and good eyes in all of my over 40 yrs of life.
The apptly named "Angelica" is obviously a very kind soul.
Livin 6 fucking YEARS in hell and still having that look, those eyes?
    I can't even comprehend it.
I guess Angelica was meant to find her own "paradise". Let's leave it at that.

  6. The people who kept these dogs cooped up and caged up like this NEED TO BE PROSECUTED SHOW OUR CHILDREN THIS IS NOT OK THIS IS NOT HOW WE TREAT OTHER ANIMALS!!

  7. It's great to hear that thick of a southern accent. Because I think we're going to lose that soon because of how mobile humans are and kids growing up on the internet. It's not a bad thing. But it should be appreciated while it still can be.

  8. This reminds me of an old man I knew who had a Maltese named Critter. He'd always gone to the drive-in at McDonalds with his dog. He'd get his burger and a burger, hold the bun and everything. Just the beef patty.
He'd done the same routine for so long, that he'd pull up to the window and give his order and also ask for a "Critterburger" and they knew exactly what he meant!
It got to the point where when he'd pull in the drive-thru and Critter would get so excited he'd start humping his arm. The employees would just be cracking up!
And yes, I witnessed this. Hysterical!

  9. Bless you they are all so special. I have been rescuing animals that often rescue me even more than I them all of my life too! My latest is a pure white German shepherd (Izzy) that spent her first year and half of her life in a crate. I got her two weeks after her discovery and rescue from a puppy mill. I am also a wildlife rehabilitator for the state and she is now 9 years old and has become a surrogate mom to all kinds of wild infant babies when they lose their mom.

  10. heart breaking thank goodness they found you. Our rescue came from 1 st year of life in a too small crate, if he had accidents he was abused & neglected, thankfully he is very trusting/loving of humans, shy around other dogs, first time seeing him on a bed still brings tears to my eyes, first time on a soft, warm bed & his first toy squeek dragon how happy, jouful

  11. Can we have a channel that goes after the people that hurt these animals? I'd like to see the sick bastards who abuse these animals beaten to a pulp.

  12. This sort of animal abuse should carry stiff penalties including incarceration. Society does a dismal job of legally protecting our domesticated animals.
