  1. I got hit by a dust devil out in Western Kansas (USA) one time while driving. It broke the windshield wiper, but that was it. I underestimated its speed and it got to the highway before I thought it would . It was an interesting experience.

  2. 1) the avalanche was tiny and not very dangerous. Riding backcountry it's kinda common. 2) The only thing in danger of the dust devil was the car paint. 3) it was sketch with all the shit getting tangled but the paraglider had his reserve open in plenty of time. 4) The bridge was just lame, he was getting desperate for footage… 5) the excavator operator could have gotten out at any time. The side door which many don't even have is easily accessible to exit in a second. It was a terrible operator, he should have swung the bucket to the right and planted it to push out. He was the one who actually pushed himself over. He was completely pushing himself over the whole by extending the arm/bucket for some idiotic reason? (rewatch it, he kept tipping himself more and more?)
This was all funny because I ski backcountry, I base jump and general parachuting, where I live we have dust devils all the time and I'm an excavator operator. I can't say I run across Bridges as they wash away though…

  3. Dust Devils aren't dangerous like that. Growing up in West Texas if we saw one this big all the kids would run right for it. Depending how many of us there were, we would be able to make it dissipate.

  4. I live in Australia and we have this paddock that has serious dust devils well we call them wirly wirlys and on average you have to drive 30kph to escape them but you only get sore eyes if you go though them

  5. Loved this channel, plus the narrator explains at a great speed👍🏻👍🏻

On the last one the Chinese man 100% for sure he would have died twice he's sooo lucky!

  6. I grew up in the Mojave desert. If he kept his eyes closed and his head down he could probably walk through the middle of that dust level.

  7. As far as I can tell only one fatality is associated with a dust Devil and that’s from a building collapse after the roof was taken off, not the dust Devil itself

  8. I'm from Arizona and as a kid I would run into the center of bigger dust devil's than the one shown here. Just close your eyes and mouth and get pelted with sand and dirt!

  9. That was a big dust devil for sure but other than getting sand blasted in the face he was quite safe. I spent 40 years in the Mojave desert dodging them.
