The Cretan govt needs to hire a full time vet, a vet assistant, and a vet truck to hold free spay and neuter clinics for dogs and cats year around, in every city and small village. Watching all these dogs thrown in the fields, tied to a tree to starve, and/or the side of the road like trash is so dispiriting. Takis can't save every abused and abandoned animal on this island!!! I am overwhelmed how many pups and hunting dogs he's taken in the last two months. Its ridiculous!

It would seem Takis takes very little for himself. He seems to put everything back into providing for the animals.

Max is doing well in his detached residence.. I cannot believe that is Timo..good grief he has put on so much weight so quickly and Bruna..she is so pretty..then look at Ivan.. he was so protective of every scrap of food..and fearful..its once they know they get regular food they relax and all the other dogs help with that too..just Tino to get some weight on and some confidence..I think he slept for 2 days .. it just shows you how utterly exhausting it is for these dogs to be out there not only searching for food but not sleeping properly because they have to stay alert to be safe too..we know he is eating now..once the treatment for Leishmaniosis kicks in too he will feel sooo much better..🇺🇦🇬🇧✝️🙏👍👏👏🐾🐾🐐🐩🐕🐶🐏🐑🐈
